The girls are in the bathroom getting ready all I had to do my put my suit on that Tessa forced me to buy "come on Tessa we have to leave in 20 minutes"

"Dad were almost ready"Emery screams out and I hear Tessa laugh "ok where ready"Tessa says opening the door and I'm speechless Tessa is wearing a long fitted dress and her hair curled perfectly and Emery has a gold sparkly dress on with a pair of high heels and hair curled like Tessa if she didn't have my green eyes they would look like twins "how do I look"Emery twirls

"You look beautiful and so do you"I tell Tess I know she has been insecure with her weight lately but I think she looks beautiful regardless "you look very handsome"Tessa tells me fixing my tie "Emery's able to sleep with Abby and Addy tonight"she whispers into my ear "I can't wait"he whispers back "oh wait Em your bow"she sticks a bow in Emery's hair "wait a second Emery do you have makeup on"I tease looking at the lip ...what ever it is called "It's only a little bit dad chill out"she rolls her eyes laughing as per usual "mommy did it doesn't it look pretty"she admires her self in the mirror "you look gorgeous"I tell her and she smiles

"Say cheese"I say to my 2 girls "cheeeese"Emery's says with her biggest smile and then I turn to take a photo of the 3 of us "Hardin that's enough for we have to leave"Tessa says after I take 20 photos

We arrive at Ken's house and of course they have gone all out

"Mommy where Addy"Emery tugs at Tessa's arm

"She is inside sweetie we will find her now but first you have to give grandpa Ken his gift" she tells her and she nods "grandpa Ken"she shouts running up to him

"Emery look how big you have gotten"he grabs Emery for a hug "happy birthday"she hands him his present "thanks so much I'm so happy yous are here "he smiles and Karen comes over "I'm so happy yous are here Tessa look at you your glowing"she grabs us in for a hug "we are so happy to be here"Tessa tells her "I can't believe how big she got"Karen hugs Emery they haven't seen Emery in 1 year everyone has just been so busy with work none of us have had the time  "she is growing up to fast"I grab her into my arms "daddy my makeup"she laughs as I kiss her "we will see yous in a bit"Karen and Ken tell us as they greet more guest we out out the backdoor and it reminds me of their wedding that seems so long ago

"Tess do you remember"

"Remember what"she looks at me in confusion

"Karen and my fathers wedding"

"Oh ye"I see her smile at the memory "that was a really good night"she smiles up at me "there's addy"emery points over  "Emery"addy shouts and they run up to each other squealing you swear they haven't seen each other in months it's been 2 days "hey man"Landon hugs me "Tessa you look gorgeous"Nora runs over "so do you"Tessa hugs her best friend we look over at the girls who are dancing together "they are the cutest"Nora says smiling over I'm so glad they are so close to each other they will always have each other

"I'm going to get a drink Tessa come with"Nora says and I give her a look "don't worry I know none alcoholic"she grabs Landon and Tessa and they walk away and then I hear a kid voice behind me "Hardin you came"I turn around my little sister Karina it's crazy how I was an only child and then came along Landon,Smith,Karina and Abby "Hey Karina"I give her a hug she looks just like Kim the same blond hair and attitude "mommy said she didn't think you would wear a suit"she laughs and Kim ,Vance and smith walk over "talking about me"I joke "I have to be careful what I say around her"she fixes her daughters hair "she is just like her mother a loud mouth"I say to her and she shakes her blonde bob "rude"

"Where's my granddaughter"Vance asks "she is somewhere.... Emery"I call and she comes running over "what daddy I'm at the chocolate fountain"her face covered in chocolate "Are you not going to say hello to me"Vance jokes "sorry I was having to much fun dancing"she hugs him "You look so beautiful"Kim tells her "thank you Karina are you coming to dance I know where the chocolate is"she whispers the last part thinking we didn't hear and they run away "Where is Smith gone"Vance asks looking around "I'll find him"I say to them and he nods I walk around through the crowds of people sitting at an empty table "not enjoying the party"

"There boring"he huffs and I get two drinks sitting down beside him "where is your pretty girl"he asks even after all theses years he still jokes about it "she is someone probably with loud mouth Kim"

"She is loud"he laughs it's such a strange sound he never does "how's school he going"I'm asking him this because Vance told me he has been having trouble with some people in his class "I don't know ......there are some people that just tease me I don't really care"

"Won't don't you say something back"

"Because there is 4 of them who knows what they will do"his voice cracks I have never seen him cry not once "it's ok"I wrap my arm around his shoulder "if you want I can go into the school I know how to handle people"I joke and he nods "how about your next school holidays you can come stay with us in New York before the new baby comes"I say and his eyes lights up

"Really"This is the most excited I have ever heard him "of course Tess would love that I'll talk to your dad"

"Thank you so much"

"Are you alright here I'm going to find Tessa and Emery"I ask him and he nods "I'll see you in a bit"I say walking away

I'm looking all over I can't see Tessa or Emery anywhere where have they gone then I see them laughing with a group of people them to never can stop talking "I have been looking for you"I tap her shoulder and she turns around laughing "oh hey we have just been talking" she excuses her self and we walk away "Emery there bringing out the cake"Addy and Abby run over "he said we can help blow the candle outs"

"Let's go"Emery says and they run up to Ken I know I don't really give compliments but Karen's cake she made for him is looks gorgeous "I take Tessa's hand and everyone starts singing happy birthday and the moment he blows out the candle Emery shoves her face in the cake and everyone starts laughing "oh my god"Tessa says and runs up to Emery she comes back over with a cake covered Emery who can't stop laughing "she had to much sugar"Tessa says and for once I agree "Emery why did you do that"I ask

"Because the cake looked yummy I had to have some"she runs up the stairs

After 20 minutes the cake is finally of her and she changes into her pyjamas we lay her beside a sleeping Addy they both look so small in the big bed "Emery we will be back in the morning"Tessa kisses her and the minute her heads hits the pillow she falls asleep finally alone time with me and Tess "let's go"I take her hand and we leave

"I told smith he could come stay with us on his next School holidays he has been having a hard time"

"Of course he can I would love to have him you could take him around to the library and stuff bring Emery along"

"That would be good"I smile down at her

We drive back to the hotel this is the first night in so long we are completely alone by the time we get back Tessa has fallen asleep I would carry her inside but I'm scared with her bump "Tess Tess baby wake up"I gently try wake her and she slowly opens her eyes "I didn't even realise I fell asleep"she wipes her eyes

We get inside and I can see Tessa's eyes keep opening and shutting I can see how tried she is as much as I would like to have sex tonight she needs her rest "I'll go get changed"she stands from the bed

"Here I'll help"I unzip her dress and put my t-shirt over her head "I thought you wanted to...you know"

"You need your rest you and the baby"I rub her stomach I lay her back and pull the blanket over us "Goodnight Tess"I give her one last kiss and she smiles closing her eyes "love you"is the last thing I hear before she falls straight asleep I stay up a while just listen to the soft snores coming from her and I kinda miss Emery aswell...
