The gym was a busy place with people going around, looking to become fitter. Spencer Reid sat on the floor of a mat, holding Liz's shoes in place as he watch her do sit ups. "That's 79, right Penny?"

"Yeah. I don't see the appeal of coming to the gym other than seeing you groaning and sweating." Spencer smiled smugly. No matter how long they've been friends for, Liz still couldn't get over how open and jokey he was with her compared to the others, and flirty too.

"Whatever, Penny. I come here to get skinny and take my anger out on the punching bags."

"But you're already skinny. And you eat barely a meal a day. I can see your ribs because of that sports bra!" The doctor complained as the girl rolled her eyes.

"Then don't focus on my sports bra." Liz smirked, watching as her friend opened his mouth to say something, before closing it again. "It's distracting." He mumbled. She laughed until a teenager walked up to the pair.

"Uh, are you, uh, are you Elizabeth Bundy? Ted Bundy's daughter?" He stuttered as Liz pulled her upper body off the ground, back into a sitting position. "Yes, why?"

"Your cases have been mentioned in the paper and how you and your team solve them. I'm a huge fan of you and your boyfriend."

"Boyfriend?"

"Doctor Reid!" Before Liz could open her mouth and protest, Spencer beat her to it, smiling at the boy. "Thank you. My girlfriend and I are happy to meet you."

"Yeah thanks." She smiled, waving as the boy walked away after grinning and gushing about his love for her. "What's up with the boyfriend act, Reid?"

"Nothing." He smiled innocently, gazing into her eyes. Cliche, right? The moment was ruined by the ringing of a cellphone, Liz's cellphone. The doctor grabbed it, smiling at his friend's light scowl. "Agent Bundy, how can I help you?" Spencer sang, putting the call on speaker.

"Reid? Why are you answering Liz's phone? It's 7:00 in the morning." Liz's eyes widened as Hotch's voice echoed in her mind. "It's not what you think, Hotch. Penny and I are at the gym."

"It doesn't matter, we have a case."

"We're on our way."

The BAU stood around a table, analyzing pictures from their latest case.

"Pipe bombs. Packed in cardboard boxes. Package bombs, but they weren't sent through the mail."

"Same mechanism for both bombs, mercury-activated." Liz's eyes narrowed at the pictures before her. "What does that mean?" Elle asked, her eyes darting between the group.

"There are contacts to a detonator on either end of a bent tube full of mercury." Elle didn't seem relieved at Spencer's answer, if anything, she was more confused. "All you have to do is tilt the package to detonate it, Greenie." The two women smiled at eachother.

"So they couldn't have been sent through the mail. The bomber had to deliver them himself."

"Strange way to commit an act of terrorism." Liz hummed, looking up as multiple eyes met hers. "Why go through all this trouble just to kill a few people?"

"Let's recommend not raising the terror alert level for now. No reason to spread panic." Everyone nodded at Gideon, their eyes shooting to the door as JJ swung the door open.

"We have news. This is just a local channel but the coverage is everywhere now CNN, FOX, MSNBC, Al-Jazeera, you name it."

"So much for not spreading panic. Thanks Jen."
