A/N:
Sorry for the long wait! SO I TRIED SOMETHING NEW HERE
Basically I was planning on making these last few parts longer than usual because I wanted them to be really great, BUT I only have about 3/4 of this part finished, but I really wanted to post it. Anyway, I decided to post the first half of this chapter because I wanted to get the entire thing up before my game tn but that's not going to happen, and I didn't want to leave you all hanging any longer so I'm posting 1/2 of part 52 right here, and then part 52B will be up soon!! I hope you don't mind, I was just trying to get something posted for you guys!!
Also, I know a few of you weren't too fond of the last chapter, and I wasn't either to be honest! Some people said that I should have described Taylor's emotions better, and you're right. However, since Part 51 was in Karlie's point of view it wouldn't have made sense for Karlie to describe how Taylor was feeling (does that make sense? Karlie can't read Taylor's mind, therefore she doesn't know what she is thinking, emotionally speaking. Contrarily, If I would have gone with a narrative in the third person then I would have been able to describe how both characters were feeling becuase of omnipresence, am I right?) so I wrote it in here. I was planning on doing it in this part anyways, but I know a few of you specifically asked me for it so I just thought I would point out that I took your feedback and worked with it, so thank you for that! :)
Woahhh only two (well, two and a half) more chapters left and then the epilogue... Crazy, right?!
Don't forget to let me know what you think!!! :)
And thank you so much for 116k reads!! You're all insane !! Thank you for reading!! :D :D <3
Maddie :)

Taylor
“Taylor? What’s up? Did I forget something?” Karlie’s voice rang through my phone speaker. Although she had just left my apartment a moment ago, she didn’t seem annoyed at the fact that I had called her so quickly. I knew that she was on her way to her interview but I wanted to let her know that I made plans for tonight, and I was hoping she would be free.
“No, no, you didn’t forget anything,” I said quickly. “I was just wondering if you had a minute to talk before your interview.”
“Yeah, I think I do. What’s it about?” She asked curiously. Out of nowhere, I felt my heart start to flutter with anxiety and my stomach wound itself in knots. I wasn’t sure why I was so nervous to suggest my ideas to her; maybe it was because I knew I had to get things right this time, and the pressure was on. Or, maybe it was because I hadn’t realized how much I needed her until I came so close to losing her.
“Well, I know that you wanted to do something tonight, and I just thought that we could go out for dinner,” I suggested, fumbling over the words. “What would you think of that?” I asked, holding my breath. A few seconds passed and I hadn’t heard anything from Karlie, which only caused my unease to root itself deeper into my chest. I was just about to open my mouth to speak when Karlie finally replied:
“I’m not sure Tay,” She said carefully. She paused and let out a sigh, clearly thinking it over. I held my breath, praying that she would say yes. “Do you really think it’s a good idea to be going out together in public right now?” Karlie mentioned. I raised my eyebrows in surprise and my mouth found itself in the shape of an ‘o’. The paparazzi hadn’t been on my mind lately, but it didn’t seem all that important to me anyway; being in the spotlight hadn’t stopped us before, so why would it now?
