Chapter 13

"You really wanna know? It's not really a pretty sight to see." You warn them, but Loki insisted you show them even though Lefiya is showing hints of fear

- You took the Wraith pendant and crushed it in your hand, you have learned that you can summon it already in the invisible state, you also use your distressing skill to make it even more terrifying, at this rate you can already see all of them with concerned and alerted faces, but to your surprise, Loki isn't affected-

"Where is it?" Loki asks, slowly getting impatient

"It's already here." You reply, they all looked at you with uneasy expressions

"Is this some kind of sick joke you're playing!" Bete growls, glaring at you

"It isn't I assure you Bete, why don't you ask the person to your left." You say with a calm tone

- Silence filled the whole room, they all tensed up knowing there is no one on the left side of Bete, but the wolf being the arrogant guy he is, turned his head to the left, and that's when he saw it, the white dots as eyes surrounded by pitch black as it appeared in front of him, Bete went pale and passed out from shock, the silence is disturbed by you laughing your ass off -

"Hahahahahah! I told you guys it's not a pretty sight to see *wheeze*!" You say still laughing

- Suddenly the Nurse you sent to watch over Bell and Hestia teleported to your side, the members of Loki Familia yelps in fear when she appeared beside you -

"I-is that another o-one?" Lefiya asks nervously, her voice shaking in fear, she was the most affected one (aside from Bete), being one of the youngest and less experienced adventurers in the Loki Familia

"How many do you have?" Loki asks in admiration, simply wanting you for herself

- The Nurse tells you that Hestia and Bell are already awake, you stand up and open the door -

"20." You say to them before leaving

[Still With Loki]

"20!!" Loki says surprised at the inhumane power you possess

"H-he said that he takes souls to make those creatures. Just how many people has he killed?" Finn asks in disbelief

"I'm pretty sure 1 soul is only needed for 1 of those, right?" Riveria tries to lighten the mood

"And each one has different powers from the other! That's a force to be reckoned with!" Gareth joins in the conversation

- The Familia members voiced their own opinions, completely ignoring a passed out Bete, even Aiz, the once quiet member joined in on the conversation, they were all stopped by Loki -

"Stop talking!" Loki shouts, her tone is different from her usual laid-back emotion

- The member's bickering was brought to a halt by their Goddess shouting, they all look at Loki awaiting her response on the matter -

"Yes! He is strong! But I have learned through our experience that... I need to stop bullying, Hestia!" She exclaims

- You are outside the door listening in on their conversation, since Bell is crying you didn't want to ruin the moment by barging in, you can tell Hestia has feelings for Bell, another reason you didn't want to disturb them, once the heartfelt moment ended you decide to enter the room -

"How are you guys doing?" You ask with a smile, Bell smiles seeing you and quickly shows the knife given to him by Hestia

"Look (Y/N) Hestia bought me a knife specially made by Hephaestus!" Bell brags like a kid showing off a new toy

"Woah! Cool!" You reply in a brotherly tone

"(Y/N)? Where are we?" Hestia asks 

"The Twilight Manor. Why?" You calmy asks

"THE TWILIGHT MANOR! We need to leave now!" Hestia shouts, standing up and pulling Bell and you out of the room

"Huh? What's the problem, Goddess?" You ask her not knowing about the rivalry between the two Goddess

"(Y/N)! How could you seek help from another Familia? And with Loki Familia!?" She says looking at you with disbelief

- Hestia opens the door to see Loki standing there smiling at her, she glares at you before turning to Loki -

"What's with you're smile?" Hestia asks with a low growl

"This is how I always smile. Why?" Loki replies

"It doesn't have that smug look in it. So, why are you here? Came to brag about how rich you are!" Hestia snaps at her

"N-no! I'm here to check up on you." Loki says but Hestia didn't buy it

"Well... ok? We'll get going now. Thank you for letting us stay." Hestia awkwardly replies dragging the both of you

- Hestia pulls you and Bell all the way to the Church, the walk was silent, you really didn't want to talk -

'Maybe I should just leave the Familia.' You thought to yourself

- You feel as if you're just pulling the family down. First, unwanted attention cuz' of your unnatural level, and now this, seeking help from someone Hestia despises. You act without considering other's opinions. Well... being alone all those years is the reason. The three of you finally reach the Church. Bell and Hestia went down the basement while you decided to stay -

"Should I?" You say to yourself

- You took out the stashed money of 30 million Valis and proceeded to decide again, after 4 minutes of thinking, you finally decided. You went down -

"Goddess? May I have a word?" You say to her, Hestia tensed up, she hesitated for a bit before following you upstairs, once she arrives, she saw you kneeling, with a box in front of you

"W-What's this?" She asks surprised

"I... know about the weapon. The box has 30 Million Valis, please take it." You say to her in a saddened tone

"Wha- No! That was my decision, you don't have to be the one to pay for it. Besides, you've already done enough for the Familia." She says as she recoils back

- Hestia meant that you already did enough for the Familia, but you being clouded with grief and sadness took her words differently, you took it as if you should stop, and that you've already done enough damage -

"I know, that's why I decided... t-to leave the Familia." You say to her nervously, your heart broke as the words come out of your mouth

"L-Leave!?" She says shocked by what you said
