The group continued their walk until they came across Ochaco and Tsu, who seemed to be in a pinch. Ochaco straddled a blonde girl who had injected some sort of needle into her thigh.

"Uraraka!"

"Quickly guys!! Help her!!" Shouted Tsu.

The girl immediately got out from under Ochaco and jumped away.

"Stop! Get her!"

"It's too dangerous! We have no idea what kind of quirk she has!" Tsu held on to Ochaco, who was eager to go after her.

"Who was that girl just now?" Shouto asked.

"One of the villains, she was crazy!" Tsu answered.

"Uraraka, you're hurt!"

"It's not bad, I can still walk okay. You're the one who looks terrible!" Ochaco answered back.

"We can't stand here and talk. Let's move," said Shoji.

"I'm just glad you didn't get injured too bad. Now come on, join our group! We're protecting Hanako and Kacchan and making our way back to camp! We could use your help," Izuku explained.

"If you're protecting those two, then, shouldn't they be standing there with you guys?" Tsu pondered.

"Huh? What are you talking about? They're right over here behind u-" Izuku and the rest of the group turned around, only to se Hanako, Katsuki, and Tokoyami all missing.

Everyone was immediately on edge.

"Nice trick, eh?" A voice spoke.

"I took the ones you're talking about with my magic." A man with a top hat and mask tossed around two marbles in his hands.

"A talent like his would be squandered were he cast as a hero. We'll provide him with a grander stage where he can truly shine! And as for the girl, she'll be in good hands."

"Give them back!!" Izuku shouted angrily, glaring at the man.

Taking Katsuki was one thing, but taking Hanako crossed the line.

"Give them back? What an odd thing to say. They don't belong to anyone. They're their own people. Don't be so arrogant."

"We'll stop you!!!!"

"Right now!!!" Shouto finished, sending a wave of ice at the magician-like man. He was angry too, more so at himself for letting the two out of his sight.

The villain jumped from the tree branch he stood on, now in midair.

"Why the aggression? We merely wish to show them that there are options besides the fanatical world of heroism they're drowning in. It's important to choose a path that aligns with your core values after all."

"It's not just those two, Tokoyami's gone!" Shoji pointed out.

"If you're monologging because you think you've beaten us, you're mistaken!" Shouto shouted.

"A bad habit of mine. I was once an entertainer you know. Taking Tokoyami was a bit of improv on my part," the villain stated, taking out a third marble.

"Moonfish, our dear blade tooth. He may not look it but he's a dastardly death row devil who's last appeal was denied. When I saw the avian take him down so easily and violently, I decided he should join our troop," explained the villain.

"YOU BASTARD!! YOU CAN'T TAKE THEM!!!" Izuku screamed.

"Midoriya calm down!" Shoji tried to calm Izuku.

Shouto handed the boy on his back to Ochaco.

"Here, take this guy for me!" he said, slamming his foot down to send a massive wave of ice at the man.
