And so the gang began their ascent of the tower.

"level 30," Iida panted.

"Wait Melissa, how high does it go??" Izuku asked.

"200th floor," she responded, also out of breath.

"The what?!" Kaminari exclaimed.

"That's way too many stairs!!" M*neta shouted.

"But it's still better than running into the villains," Momo input.

The group continued, running from the 40th floor to the 50th floor.

"Hey Melissa!" Ochaco called to the girl who was lagging behind.

"Do you want me to use my quirk on you?" She offered.

"I'll be fine, but thanks anyway," Melissa replied, taking off her shoes.

"Save your power for when we need it. I'm right behind you!"

They continued on to the 70th floor, and then the 80th, where the route became blocked.

"The route's blocked!" Iida pointed out.

"What should we do, break through it?" Shouto wondered aloud.

"In that case I'll do it," Hanako offered, lighting her fist on fire.

"Wait! If we did that, I'm sure the security system would alert the villains that someone's in here," Melissa interrupted.

Hanako pouted, putting out the fire on her hand.

M*neta wandered away from the group, stopping in front of a door.

"Then why don't we go through this door instead?"

"Mineta!"

"No don't!"

And of course, the grape boy opened the door, alerting the security system.

"Is there another way to go up?" Shouto asked as the group ran through the hallway.

"There should be another emergency staircase down at the end of the hallway!"

"Let's hurry!" Iida shouted.

But before they could reach it, a metal gate suddenly dropped in front of them, blocking them from continuing forward.

"The gates!" Izuku called.

"The ones behind us too!" Momo added.

"Todoroki!"

"I'm on it!"

Using his ice as a wedge, Shouto stopped the last gate from closing in on them, allowing them to jump through the gap and continue on.

Using his recipro burst, Iida broke through a nearby door.

"Everyone quick! We can cross through here!"

"What is this place?" Izuku asked as the group ran through what looked to be a botanical area.

"It's a plant factory. They research the effects that quirks have on fauna here," Melissa answered.

"Hold on!" Jirou stopped the group, Hanako narrowing her eyes at an elevator door.

"Look, the elevator's coming up."

"Don't tell me the villains found us!" M*neta worried.

"We should hide and let them pass," suggested Izuku.

And so they did just that, hiding behind some bushes.

"I wonder if we can use that elevator to get to the top floor once they're gone," Kaminari wondered.
