Info: MJ knows about SM, but the Avengers dunno who he is. This is a modified version of a private request I wrote for someone recently, although the part that was actually requested it what's edited out. Enjoy!

"Loser. Loser. Loser. Loser. Loser."

"What?" Peter growled, turning his vexed glare on the teenage girl who had been incessantly poking him for the past twenty-six seconds.

"You've got that thingy tonight, right?"

"Yeah. Why do you care?"

"Are they going to be there?"

"Who are 'they?'" he laughed, struggling to focus on his Calculus with the female still prodding his side.

"Pepper Potts and Natasha Romanoff," MJ answered with a roll of her eyes. "C'mon, I wanna know."

"They should be? It's an Avengers party, so Nat will definitely be there, and Pepper's usually Tony's plus one."

"Plus one?" Her eyebrow quirked at the two words, a plan forming.

"Yeah, we're all allowed a plus one for, like, dates and stuff. Sometimes Clint brings his wife or Thor brings this chick named Jane," the boy explained whilst taking the anti-derivative of the integral he was working with.

"So, you could bring a plus one as well, right?"

"I guess?"

"Well, then. I'm coming with you. I'm free this evening anyways," she decided.

Peter paused. "I can't just bring some random teenage girl into their party! It'll raise so many red flags!"

"I'll wear one of your masks then."

"Would your hair even fit? It's so fluffy!"

"I could cut a hole in it for a ponytail."

"Do you know how hard those are to make? I have to put in an insane amount of tech into the lenses!" She stared him down for a moment, causing him to relent with sigh. "But, I guess I'll find a faulty one and strip it for you."

"Yay," she cheered quietly. "Also, you dropped a negative during your anti-chain rule, idiot."

"It's because I've been distracted by you for the past two minutes."

"Fair point. When are you picking me up?"

"I was actually going to head to the tower immediately after school. You can walk with me to my apartment so I can get your mask all set and swing over with me," he explained. "I'm helping set up."

"Cool. I'll text my mom," Peter's girlfriend agreed, whipping out her phone at lightning speed. Just minutes later, the bell rang and the duo exited Study Hall and went their separate ways.

Two hours passed and the final brrriiiing freed them from the confines of public education. Soon, Peter had removed the faulty tech from a spare mask and tossed it at his girlfriend so she could pierce it. "Are these clothes fine?" she mused while she located where her hair should protrude. "I mean, not that I really care. I just want to make a good impression on Ms. Potts and Ms. Romanoff."

Peter glanced at her and took in her attire: a blazer with a white shirt underneath along with jeans and tennis shoes. "I'm wearing what I wore to school today, so you should be fine."

"Peter, you are not about to show up to an Avengers party wearing some nerdy t-shirt and a jacket."

"It's not like they haven't seen me wear nerdy clothes before!"
