Dream's POV

Blue and I were heading to Ink's room in the Underhospital. The last time we had visited was two days ago, a day later Cross went. I was happy he was finally able to look at Ink again. After what had happened last night with Undersail and RevolutionTale we had decided we needed to check on Ink. Blue had once again made Tacos in case he woke up. I doubted it though there weren't a lot of things I was sure about, I was sure that someone would have told us he woke up. When I told Blue that, his response was 'well, then we might be the ones to see him up first'. It made me laugh but, we both have been worried lately. It's hard for me to really feel a lot of negative emotions but worry, we'll ever since the incident I've come to be warier.

"Hey, Dream, you're spacing out again." Blue told me.

"oh, sorry Blue." I said.

"There's no need to be sorry!!Mweheheheh!!Oh, look we're here!" Blue yelled. Maybe if he yelled loud enough he can wake Ink. I opened the door allowing Blue to go through with his Tacos carefully placed in a container. No one was here except Ink, who was not awake. I guess we just missed Error. Blue placed his container on the table next to the medical bed, taking one out and eating eat. I looked around the room at all the machines, bandages before my eyes landed on the small clipboard. The monsters here kept a clipboard in the room so people could see how others were doing. I checked the clipboard, not much had changed since last time.

Name:Ink!Sans or Ink

Max Hp: 999
Hp: 85
Reason for stay: unknown
State: coma
Emergency contact: Dream! Sans, Swap! Sans
If Contacts unavailable: Error! Sans

I had always wondered why Error was there, but then I remembered that one day I had asked Ink if he and Error had always been like this. He told me that they were once very good friends, but he never told anyone specifics.

"From the looks of it, his Hp went down again." I told Blue.

"What! Why?" He jumped and ran over and examined the board.

"Undersail?" I reminded him.

"oh, right." Blue said he had sadness in his voice even if I was the only one who ever heard it. "How m-much longer d-do you think h-he'll s-stay like t-that?" his words were stuttered as more sadness crept up on him. I knew where this would lead so made sure my positive aura was up and hugged him. Blue was now crying, while I hugged him. And without realizing I started crying too. There are a lot of things monsters don't know about us. One is that each of the three of us deeply cared for the others, each of us had problems that the others would help. Ink had helped both of us a lot.
I had first met Ink a week after the incident and I felt awful for not being there for my brother. It always made me feel worse when my sadness, anger, fear was taken over by some positive emotion. I was barely able to hold any emotion for long if it wasn't happiness. I knew it was my fault for what happened to my brother, it...it still is. But when I met Ink, he helped me hold onto emotions better. I was finally able to be sad for my brother, angry towards the villagers, and fearful of the future. He couldn't help me entirely but he helped me, and after that we became friends. He helped me try to get back my brother, but he never let me help him fight Error. And soon we met Blue, Blue was a Papyrus type character, but he still remembered resets and his death...and his brother's. Yet, he was able to tell anyone he remembered, or else it would mess with his timeline. Since he had gone through so many resets he had major anxiety, but Ink still helped him. We'd visit blue all the time and then Blue would visit us. Eventually, Ink had twisted his world code enough that Blue could finally tell them what he remembered. Blue still has anxiety but Ink helped through the worst moments, but Ink never allowed Blue to help when he was feeling down. I felt like I was reliving my whole life over again, Ink never let us help him, and know we didn't know how to help him when he needed it most. So I sat on the ground of the room, trying to comfort Blue as I cried as well. Until I heard something else, it was like a whimper or a wince. I looked up, no one else was in the room, and neither I nor Blue had made the noise. After a second I heard it again. Now Blue was looking around, trying to find the person who had made the noise. Once I heard for the third time I finally realized what it was,

"Ink!"
