The next morning Kara was ridiculously anxious, she knew it wasn't that big of a deal but it was new and it was quite overwhelming to her and the items hadn't even arrived yet.
"Kara, please come sit down, you've been pacing the floor for forty five minutes"
"What? No I haven't"
"Yes you have, I didn't want to bother you because I could tell you were in deep thought but now that I know you're nervous about something I want you to come sit down"
Kara furrowed her eyebrows and clasped her hands together.
"That wasn't a request Kara"
Sighing, she walked into the living room, sitting on the couch right next to Lena.
"Have you eaten at all?"
Kara nodded her head but then shook it, not wanting to get scolded for lying.
"I didn't think so, do you want to go to that cafe you took me to a few months ago?"
"We can do that"
"Yeah?"
"Mhm"
Lena put her cup down and got up to grab her keys and purse, opening the door for Kara.
"Come on"
Kara walked out of the door and squeaked out in surprise once she stepped outside, whipping her head back to look at Lena.
"I really wanted to do that, I'm sorry"
Kara shook her head and walked to the car, waiting for Lena to unlock the door.
Lena instead backed her up against the passenger door, looking at her lips and then back at her eyes.
"Lee?"
Lena hummed softly and slowly licked her lips, never breaking eye contact with Kara.
"Could you um, could you unlock the door?"
Lena nodded softly and gently grabbed Karas jaw, kissing her passionately and eliciting a whimper from her lips.
"I can't wait until later"
Kara blushed as Lena unlocked the door and opened it for her, she blushed even more when Lena winked at her before walking over to the drivers side and getting in.
"I love you"
"I love you too"
"I love you more"
"I love you most"
"No way, I'm in first place"
"Fine fine, you love me the most"
"Fuck yeah I do"
Kara giggled softly at the response and looked out the window, just looking around.
"We should get strawberry waffles, and french toast, and bacon, lots of bacon"
"You can have whatever you want"
"Oh oh hash browns, and iced coffee, you can have coffee, do you want coffee?"
"Are you serious? I can get coffee?"
"It's only fair if I get some"
"I swear to God if you're kidding I'm going to kill you"
"I'm not kidding Lee, you can have coffee"
"This day is already off to such a good start!"
Kara laughed softly at that and continued to think about what she wanted to order.
