Somewhere in Seoul, South Korea, a boy named Im Hae-Seong stretched his arms in the air. Satisfied, he turned to look at the person on his left, who had his whole attention focused on the gadget on his hand.

"Did you finally get a girlfriend, Seung-eun?" Hae-Seong asked jokingly.

Seung-Eun responded by giving him a blank face. His close friend should know that he wasn't interested in any sort of thing called romance.

The teacher looked at his watch before he dismissed the students, indicating that school was over. Few girls in the classroom flocked around Hae-Seong and Seung-Eun.

"Are you guys busy? Do you want to join us to go to the arcade?"

"We're also going to karaoke after this!"

"Yeah, yeah, we can eat at a restaurant too!"

'That sounds tempting... but something else more exciting is waiting for me.'

"I have something to do today. Maybe next time?" Seung-Eun flashed his cute smile, earning embarrassed faces from his classmates. The two of them were easy-going, thus, invitations like this were common.

"Since Seung-Eun isn't coming, then, I won't." Their classmates were disappointed but didn't persist them any longer. Hae-Seong nudged at the guy next to him. "What do you even do to be so busy?"

"I joined sword training, remember? If you are so interested in joining them, why did you reject the invitation?"

Hearing this, there was an unreadable expression on Hae-Seong's face for a split second. "I remember."

Both of them left the school's building together. Along the way, Seung-Eun heard a whimper from the corner of the building. He looked at the voice's direction and witnessed a fight between the students from his other class.

"What's wrong?" asked Hae-Seong, noticing that his friend was distracted.

"It's nothing."

After Seung-Eun separated ways from Hae-Seong, he changed his direction towards his home and rode a bus to another specific destination. A Gate, that connected earth to the other world, appeared in front of the buildings that were in the middle of constructions. Several Hunters from Hunter Guild already gathered in front of the blue portal.

The reason he was focused earlier in class was because he was on spying on Jin-Woo, the protagonist of this world. Back then, when the window first appeared, he had learnt many ways to complete his mission in getting Jin-Woo becoming a National Level Hunter. Since no one could see the window, he made a copy of it and transferred it to his other devices. He didn't want to get called crazy for staring at nothingness from people's perspective.

Managing a system wasn't easy and Seung-Eun had to spend weeks to get a gist of the things the window was capable to do. It could create items, living beings and even alter people's status. If people knew such things exist, they would have drawn bloodshed to get this ability. Thankfully, no one could see it beside him.

"Seung-Eun?" He heard a familiar voice from the distance.

It was Jin-Woo, the person Seung-Eun had been focusing on to prevent the destruction of this world. Jin-Woo was a feeble young man with the same height as Seung-Eun. He had black hair and gray eyes with an innocent looking face.
