When she cried there was a rawness to it, like the pain was still an open wound. She would clasp onto something for support, anything, a table or the back of a chair, and then her whole body would shake.

The sobs were stifled at first as she attempted to hide her grief, then overcome by the wave of her emotions she would break down entirely, all her defences washed away in those salty tears.

Thinking about Joshua pretending all this time could wound her soul unlike any other action. It was just a big amount of pain she had to deal with all alone. Joshua was not with her even if he was saying otherwise.

She was alone. Minghao was not with her, Joshua was not with her... Her parents were dead. She didn't really have friends... Her brother was miles away!

As much as she tried to hold it in, the pain came out like an uproar from her throat in the form of a silent scream. Cottoning on the fact, She actually is forlorn was uprooting every warm feeling inside her heart and the worst part was that she is not mad at Joshua. She is mad at herself that fell for this fairytale.

Minutes were passing by as she was laying on the floor crying her eyeballs out until she heard a sudden knock on the door

Minutes were passing by as she was laying on the floor crying her eyeballs out until she heard a sudden knock on the door. She could not find the strength to check who it was so she just remained on the floor.

"Soonie? It's me!" Mia's voice echoed through the hallway and Mia rubbed her eyes, trying to dry the moisty tears on her cheeks. She totally forgot they had plans tonight.

"Soonie open up! Are you okay?" She asked while her one hand was located on the surface of the wooden door. She sniffed quite hardly as she finally stood on the floor. Her hand landed on the doorknob and towisted around so the door finally swung open.

"Oh my god,  What happened?" Mia asked scanning her face filled of grief and soorrow. Her eyes were swollen, her cheeks were puffy and her nose was red. Mia entered in and closed the door behind her. Her hands cupped Soonie's face to have a clearer view.
