Ash POV

We loaded onto the jet and I decided I should probably call Ben and tell him what's happening.

"Ash?"
"Yeah it's me."
*Sigh* "good. What's happening?"
"Stark and Parker went up in the donut. There's a crazy space guy collecting the Infinity Stones to take over the world. Maybe even the universe."
"Ok that's bad. Where are you?"
"In the quin jet. We're going to Wakanda to see if we can get the stone out of Vision's head."
" Ok. Hey Wakanda that's where Winter isn't it?"
"Yeah. I can't wait to see him. I just wish it wasn't under these circumstances."
"I know. What can I do?"
"Not tell anyone. We don't need a panic."
"Got it. Do you think this will be a quick fix?"
"No. I don't think so."
"Ash.."
"Ben, Wanda and I are both telepaths and we can read energy. Something's going to happen and it's not going to be good. At all."
"Hey, it will be ok. You're Avengers. This is what you guys do."
"Yeah I know. Ben I need to tell you something. Because I truly don't know if I'm coming back."
"Stop. Ash I have something to tell you too. And we'll tell each other in person when you come back home. Alive."
"But Ben.."
"Promise me. You'll try. Try to come home. Beat the bad guys and come home."
"I'll try but you know I can't promise anything." I say now beginning to cry as he is also.
"I'll take what I can get. Haha I'm beginning to feel what it's like to be a military spouse. You're off fighting while all I can do is wait and pray. I hate it."
"I know. I'm sorry."
"Don't be. Remember I know what I signed up for."
"Ben can you at least tell me this. How does Pride and prejudice end?"
"Darcy and Elizabeth finally admit that they love each other."
"Good. I gotta go we're going to be landing soon."
"Alright. Good luck. Remember come home. Please for me."
"I'll try."
I hung up and finally the cry comes out. I bring it back in.

I need to get my head in the game.
I walked up to the front of the jet to see Sam is about to drive us into a mountain.
"Uh Sam that's a mountain."
He doesn't stop or move.
"Sam. Still a mountain."
"Birdie mountain!" I go to brace for impact when we go through a force field.
Wakanda is so beautiful and just wow.
"Still a mountain Ashy?"
"Shut up bird brain."
"I missed you kid."

"It's beautiful."
"Maybe it's where you and Ben can honey moon."
Wanda says coming up next to me with a smile.
"Haha I forgot what it's like being in a room with another telepath."
She laughed at that.
"You have to tell me everything later."
"You got it Lady."

We landed and there is T'Challa with his guards.
"You're Majesty." I said with a sarcastic curtsey at which he smiled and pulled me into a hug.
"Haha how are you Ash?"
"I'm good. How's being King?"
"It's Kingly."

We all walked down with T'Challa explaining what soldiers we have.
"And a semi stable hundred year old man."
"Winter!" I ran up to him and he caught me in a hug.
"Oh my Angel. I missed you so much." He says lifting me up hugging me.
"I missed you too."
"You have to catch me up."
"After we fight aliens."
"Haha that's what she told me." Steve said walking up and giving Winter a hug.
"How you been?"
"Pretty good. For the end of the world."
The rest of the team went inside with Vision while Sam, Winter, Rodey and I stayed outside.
"Ok we got time to kill. Catch me up on your life Ashy."
"Uh. Well I broke my leg again."
"I was going to ask about the brace. Don't need to anymore. How did you break your leg?"
"Welllll a building fell on it and me."
"I'll ask in detail later. Next."
"Ash tell him about Ben!" Rodey said over the comms that we all have on.
"Rodes shut up."
"Who's Ben?"
"Definitely not my boyfriend..."
"What?! When did this happen? I left you alone for a year."
"Yeah well alot happens in a year."
"So tell me about the kid."
"His name is Ben. He's from England. He's the medic of the team with Parker, Ned and I. And he's just awesome and I think I'm in love with him."
"Who's Parker?"
"The spider kid."
"Alright. Wait love?"
"Yeah. And I know he loves me too. But we haven't told each other because he made me promise that I'll come back from this than we'll tell each other then."
"Well that's nice. Is he one I'll have to kill?"
"No.  He's close to perfect."
"I'm glad you have someone besides me."
He smiles sadly.
"I'll always need you."
He pulled me into a hug.
"I know." He kisses my head.

To kill the loving father daughter moment something hit the force field above us.
"What the hell? Hey you guys seeing this?" I said on the comms.
"Yeah. Ash get up here." Rodes said over the comms.
I flew up to the top and saw these like space containers landing just outside the boarder.
"Look at this." I flew over to him pointing at a small hole in the shield due to the containers.
"Hey T'Challa how many hits can this thing take?"
"As many as needed."
"You sure about that?"
Sam said flying up next to us.
I looked over to the containers and saw people walking towards the boarder.
"Guys we got space people walking towards the boarder."
" We see them. Ash go check it out we'll meet you there."
I flew along the top and landed near the shield in the woods.
"Where are they?" Steve asked coming up behind me with Nat and T'Challa.
"Here."
Out walk a lady with horns and another space hulk.
Steve gave me the signal to fly back and I did.
I landed next to Winter as they came back.
"They surrender?" We asked Steve as he stood next to me so I'm in the middle of them.
"Nope."
"Ok. Let's go."

Their foot soldiers honestly look like the mutts from the last hunger games movie.
"Their killing themselves." Okoya says watching them get cut in half trying to get though the barrier.
"At least that's less for us to deal with." I said trying to lighten the mood.
They start running around the boarder.
"Cap, if these things circle the perimeter and get in behind us…There’s nothing between them and Vision." Sam says over the comms to us.
"How do we stop that?" I asked looking at Steve.
"We open the barrier." T'Challa says.
"On my signal, open North-West Section Seventeen." He says into the comm.
"Requesting confirmation, My King. You said open the barrier?"
"On my signal."
"This will be the end of Wakanda."
"Then it will be the noblest ending in history."

Winter pulls me into a side hug and kisses my temple.
"I love you."
"Forever and always."

They start getting too much to the point where I'm on the ground stabbing them before they stab me.
"Guys there's too many of them not enough of us!" I shouted over the comms.
Suddenly a wave of lightning hits taking out the mutts.
I let out a breath sitting up to see Thor.
*Sigh* "yay."
"Ah yeah! You guys are so screwed now!" Banner shouts happily.

"Guys Vision's in the woods." Rodes said over the comm.
"On my way." Wanda said over the comms before I saw the horn lady knock her out.
"He'll die alone. As will you."
Okoya, Nat and I surrounded her and Wanda.
"She's not alone."

I flew off to Vision, found Steve defending him and I went to help when I felt something.

A blue portal of smoke opened.
Oh God.
He's here.
