Ash POV

"Guys. He's here."
I said as Thanos stepped out of the portal and looked at me.
"Ash get out of there." Winter said over the comms.

"Move child."
"You're not going to get to him."
"And why's that?"
"Because I'm not the only one standing in your way. I'm just the first line of defense."
"How Brave." He goes to punch me but I move out of the way and kick him.
No effect.
Ok let's try something else.

He goes to grab me but I move and grab his arm.
But that didn't work as he grabs me and lifts me in the air.

Man it's difficult fighting someone as big as a tree.

"You remind me of my daughter."
I put my hand to the side of his head and get his memories.
"You mean the one you killed."
He shouts in anger as he throws me to a tree.
Groaning in pain I rolled over to face him walking away and grabbed his leg with  my magic wip.

"An effort to stop fate. I'm impressed my child."
He says turning and walking towards me.
"Though I don't think you're in the right position to stop fate."
He places his foot over my left leg. You know the dead leg.
"Ahhhhhhhh." I shouted in pain as he pressed down and I heard the bones breaking. Again.
"Guys! I'm down. Ahh. He's heading for Vision. Backup now!"
"You'll see my child. This was for a truer purpose."

"You'll lose."

He turns around to look at me.
"Really? Why?"
"Because it's not just my team and I that stand in your way. It's the true fate and destiny of this world. And you are not it."
With no words he walks away.

I pulled myself up against the tree and got a look at my leg.
"Well you're definitely broken. Again. In under a year. That's got to be a record. I'll call Guinness when this is over."
I took off my boot and my knee high sock and wrapped my leg as best I could just to try and stop the bleeding.

"Shuri better be able to fix this."
I pulled myself up to walk towards the fight.
Well limp to the fight.

"You should have gone for the head." Thanos said before he snapped his gloved hand.

And he left.
"Where'd he go?"
"I don't know."

"Winter." I said limping to him.
He catches me just as I fell.

"Something's wrong."
I felt my head start to go light as my telapathy felt off.
Thoughts started flying around.
I looked down at my hand as it turns to dust.
And slowly the rest of me follows.

We lost.
