Ash POV

The next day I'm in my room packing and searching for my flannel.

The one I stole from Winter all those years ago.
"Where is it?"
I called Ben because maybe I left it at his house.

"Hello love."
"Hey did I leave Winter's flannel at your house? I can't find it."
I can tell he's looking around now.
"Uh no. It's not here."
"Ok. Than it's somewhere in my house. Thanks love you."
"Love you too."
I hung up and called to Friday.

"Friday. Do you know where it is?"
"I was told not to tell."
Morgan.
"Where's Morgan?"
"In her room."
"Thank you Friday."

I walked down the hall to Morgan's room to find her on her bed reading with Hunter.

I found my flannel.
It's under her pillow.

"Hey Morgan have you seen my flannel?"
I said walking in and over to her bed near the pillow.
"No."
"Why's your pillow lumpy."
She froze.
Haha gotcha little sister.

"Uhhh that's my PJs."
I pointed to her PJs on the bench at the end of her bed.
"Then what's that?"
"My...... Extra PJs."
"Uh huh."

I reached under the pillow and pulled out my flannel.
"Hey here it is!"
"Oh look at that. Wonder why it was there."

I gave her a look as I put on the shirt.
"Morgan. Lying to a telapath is funny but pointless."
"I know. I took it."
"Why?" I said sitting down on the bed.
"Because I know you weren't going to go on the trip without it and I don't want you to go."
"Why don't you want me to go?"
"Because I'll miss you and I don't want anything  bad to happen to you."
"Oh honey. Nothing bad is going to happen."
"That's what Dad said. Ash I already lost him I can't lose you too."
"You're not going to lose me. I'm bringing my suit so I'll be ready in case anything happens."
"And you'll call me every day?"
"I'll try to call every day. If I can't then every week. Ok?"
"Ok."
"Hey, I have to go pick up my passport. Do you want to come with?"
"Yes!"
"Great. Grab your shoes and I'll meet you downstairs."
"Got it."

I gave her a kiss on the head and shouted this as I left the room.
"Don't take my flannel!"

We decided to walk there because it's not that far.
I got my passport and now we are just walking.
"Ok what else do I need?"
"Snacks. *Gasp* we should go to m&m place and make a special travel mix."
"You just want to go get m&ms."
"Yes yes I do."
"Well I like the idea so let's go."

We got there and I made a mix of m&ms that Ben and I both like because we're going to sit together and I know he would play the sad Brit card if I didn't bring him candy.

We got home and she ran off to find Pepper while I went upstairs to finish packing to find the suit Tony made me in my bag.
"I thought that would be a good one to bring." Happy said from the door.
"And I threw in a extra brace."
He said with a smile.
"Thanks Happy. I wish I didn't still need the brace but Shuri said I probably will need it for the rest of my life."
"That's ok. It makes you stronger. I know it."
"Thanks Happy."
He gives me a kiss on the head before leaving.

I finished packing while leaving room for stuff I'm going to bring back when I got a call.

"Hello."
"Hey you packing for your trip?"
It's Winter.
"Yeah I'm almost done. How did you know about it?"
"Happy sent me a text. So where are you going on the trip?"
"Venice, Paris, london and other little ones who's names I can't remember."
"Sounds fun. Is Ben going?"
"Obviously."
"Oh really. Do I have to give him a call?" He says laughing.
"Haha no. He knows what not to do. Though he is a great kisser."
"Ahdjdbjs. Stop I don't need mental images of my daughter and her boyfriend."
"Hahahaha."
"So any plans for it?"
"Not really. Though I did promise Morgan that I would mail her something from each country and send so many pictures it's as if I'm there. Said the 7 year old."
"Haha I remember when you wanted me to start developing a photographic memory so I could tell you in detail about the places I went on missions."
"Really?"
"Yep. Though I saw that a bad joke on my memory. haha."
"Oh yeah how's that coming by the way?"
"Slowly. It's a combination of before Hydra and in Hydra with you and Jackson."
I smiled at the mention of my brother.
"Morgan found his picture and asked about him. I told her that he's her other brother who passed before she was born."
"Yeah. I wonder how different things would be if he was here?"
"He probably would have killed Ben by now or at least threatened him."
"Yeah probably."
"What kind of missions are you and Sam doing?"
"Nothing now. Man's still trying to figure out how to throw the shield. He's taken out like 5 trees."
"So if the captain america thing doesn't work out than you guys can do landscaping."
"Haha maybe."

"Ash pizza! Let's go!" Morgan shouted  running into my room and out of my room.

"Was that Morgan?"
"Yeah she's becoming more and more like Tony every day."
"Oh boy  that must be fun. hahaha."
"Yeah. I gotta go before she eats all my pizza. I'll send you pictures."
"You better. Have fun. I love you."
"Love you too. Bye."
