Her POV

It's been 2 days since he locked me here. And I'm just worried sick thinking about my father because I know that he's really worried about me right now. Hindi na rin ako magtataka kung malalaman ko na nasa missing list na ako ngayon.

Pero sa dalawang araw na pamamalagi ko dito ay wala naman akong nakikitang dapat ikatakot sa behavior ni Jethro. He's taking care a lot of me all the time at ipinakita niya sa akin kung gaano niya ako ka mahal.

Pero kahit gaano niya pa ako ka mahal ay hindi naman tama ang ginagawa niya sa'kin ngayon. "Try to eat this one." at nilagyan niya ng shrimp ang plato ko. He's been like this, being sweet and clingy. And when he's being like this ay hindi maiwasan nang puso ko na magwala.

Kinain ko na lang ang nilagay niya sa plato ko. "When will you going to set me free?" sa sinabi kong 'yon ay natigil siya sa pagkain.

"When I will learn on how to let you go."

"And when is that?"

He shrug. "I don't know either. Maybe tomorrow? Or maybe, it's not gonna happen." at ngumiti siya ng nakakaloko sa akin.

I sighed. "Jethro don't be like this... please let me go already. Alam kong nag-aalala na si papa. Can I at least call him? Just to let him know that I'm fine." pakiusap ko sa kaniya.

He shake his head. "Absolutely no."

"What? Please... I just really need to talk to him. I'll just tell let him know that I'm fine and safe."

"No." at alam ko na naman kung saan tutungo ang usapan na 'to kaya tumahimik na lang ako.

I hurriedly finish my food para maiwasan na siya at naglakad papunta sa living room. In this condo, I can do everything I want. Jethro will give everything I need in here from clothes, foods, and a lot of luxury things. I have freedom in here but there's only one thing I'm not allowed to do... and that is to leave this condo.

When I reached the living room, I started to watch a movie while Jethro is currently washing the dishes.

Well, I'm a bit impressed because he can cook and clean the house. I never expect it from someone like him.

While watching, someone knock on the door dahil doon ay parang bigla akong nabuhayan ng loob.

Is this the time that I can finally get away from Jethro? I won't waste this opportunity at dali-dali akong tumakbo sa pintuan para buksan na sana 'yon but I remembered that I can not open it because I don't have the keys. 

I lost my hope again.

"What are you doing here?" Jethro stared at me.

Masama itong nakatingin sa akin nang makita akong malapit sa pintuan. "O-oh... because there's someone outside... knocking."

"I know... and you're not allowed to be here." at kumuha siya ng susi sa bulsa niya. "Go back to the living room, now." utos niya.

I shake my head. "No." I said. Kung babalik ako doon ay tuluyan na akong mawawalan ng pag-asa because this is the first time person who came here.

"Go." and now he's demanding me to go back.

"I won't." pagmamatigas ko.

He glared at me at umigting ang panga niya. "Go back there, Vera. Don't make me mad." and now, I'm already scared para naman akong tuta na bumalik na lang sa living room.

Nakakapanghina ng loob.

Pagkadating ko sa living room ay narinig kong binuksan niya na ang pintuan but my curiousity can't take this.
