I walk into red base to ask Mike a question but he's not in his office, so I go to Paul and Connor's office to see if they know where he is. I knock and hear Paul say come in. "hey do you guys know where Mike is?" I ask opening the door. "Ummm I don't think he's here today," Connor says. "oh ok thanks," I say closing the door. I go back to Mikes office and text him.

I then head to blue base to find matt. "hey matt," I say walking into his office. "hey y/n," he says looking up from his computer. "is there anything I need to edit?" I ask. "umm nope you're all caught up why do you ask?" "well Mike said I could use his office to try out some music stuff since he's not here today," I say. "oh ok go ahead, you've got nothing else to do," he says. "thanks Matt you're the best," I say hugging him. "No problem n/n," he says as I walk out and back to mikes office. I walk up to the piano and set everything up. I start to play When I Met You by Ethan Nestor and sing along.

*Paul's pov*

I was sitting in my office bored because Connor was in a meeting and all my work was done when I heard someone singing in Mikes office. I went to go see who it was when I saw y/n playing the piano and singing I couldn't help but smile. They were so pretty and had a really good voice. I recognized the song, it was When I Met You their brothers friend wrote it. I have actually always been slightly jealous of Ethan because y/n and him are really close. I definitely like them they're absolutely perfect in my eyes even if they don't think so. I just don't know how Mark would feel if I asked to them out. I quickly pull out my phone and text him.

When they finished I started clapping and they jumped a little. "sorry to scare you I just heard you singing and couldn't help myself," I say. "oh it's ok just didn't expect it," they said with a giggle. God I love their giggle I thought.

"I didn't know you could sing," Paul says. "yeah not many people do cause I get nervous singing front of people," I say looking down. "there's no need to be nervous you have a beautiful voice," he says making me blush. Then I had an idea, "hey Paul?" "yes y/n" "give me a song to play." "hmmm how about Baby It's cold outside," he suggests. "But you need two people to do that," I say. "exactly he says walking over to me, "let's do it together." "ok then, you know the lyrics?" I ask.
