CHAPTER FORTY
FINAL
- Edited -

[ Louis' POV ]

"Baby." - I shook Harry by the shoulder to wake him up. - "Harry, c'mon my baby, time to wake up."

"No." - He mumbled with his morning voice, cuddling closer to my chest.

"C'mon, we have somewhere to be."

"Five more minutes." - He mumbled.

"Okay." - I chuckled. - "But only five."

Harry curled even closer, tugging on the blanket over his shoulders.
I tangled my fingers on his hair, playing with his curls and humming to myself.
Harry sighed, relaxing under my touch.

"Why isn't Liam waking us up?"

"Because it's my day off."

"Then why do we have to get up?"

"Because I have to show you something."

"But I want to sleep." - He pouted.

"You had a week in school and you're already more tired than I am after my tours."

"It was a stressing first week."

"I'm sure it was, baby." - I said, kissing his forehead.

He looked up at me and ran his fingers in my hair, moving it out of my face with slow touches.
I stared at him, not wanting to miss a second, admiring his features from close.
He was breathtaking. He would always be.

"I love you." - I sighed.

Harry smiled and pecked my lips.

"Okay, I'm already awake." - He sat up. - "What do you want to show me?"

"You'll have to put some clothes on, because we're going out."

"Oh no, really?" - He groaned.

"Yeah."

"Are people going to take pictures of us?"

"Probably."

"Fuck. I have to dress up and fix my hair then." - He pouted.

"You can go just the way you are right now. You're always pretty."

"My mother tells me off every time she sees me badly dressed on the news. She says I shouldn't be sloppy if I'm dating a celebrity." - He said, getting out of bed reluctantly, and I laughed.

"Well, I don't care how you dress, but do it now. We're leaving."

"This better be worth it."

Wearing casual clothes, but decent enough to be seen in public, we walked out of the house, and for the first time no Gael was waiting for us, instead, I opened the garage door.

Wiggling the car keys in my hand, I pointed to my car inside the garage. The one that had gone unused for months.

"Wait. This is new." - Harry stopped in his tracks, frowning.

"I'm driving today." - I shrugged.

"Is this... your car?" - He gasped.

"Yeah." - I sighed. - "I haven't used it since... you know."

"What?"

"Since I almost killed you with it."

"Oh." - His eyes widened. - "Right."

"Yeah. Want to get in? Or are you staying there?" - I said as I opened the passenger side's door.

Harry nodded and climbed in.
I closed the door after him and went around the car, climbing onto the driver's seat after.
