"How many Pringles did you take?" I asked Nathan.

"Four" he replied as we continued our shopping.

"Add six more" I added.

"Tara!! Omotara!!" I heard someone call. It's not my business cause I'm not Tara.

I felt a tap on my shoulder.

"Tara! Didn't you hear me call you?" A girl of around my age said.

"Sorry, I'm not Tara" I replied.

"Oh C'mon Tara! Im not in the mood for jokes. Besides, what's with the accent?" The girl rolled her eyes.

"I'm not Tara. I'm Dazzline" I replied.

"Sorry, what?" The girl asked in what seems like surprise.

"I'm Dazzline. Dazzline Farrell" I replied.

"I'm sorry, you really look like someone I know" the girl apologized.

"It's no problem" I replied.

"Okay thanks" she replied and walked away quickly.

"Let's go. We've done enough shopping" I told Nathan.

Why did she call me Tara?

I shrugged my shoulders and went to the shop attendant.

"Imani, you'll get late for school" Mom said.

"I'm coming Mom" I rolled my eyes as I put on my lip gloss.

I'm in SS3 now. Seniors don't need to obey the rules in Hamdyn high. They only need to pass their WAEC and JAMB exams.

I put my headphones in my bag along with my phone and left my room.

"I made rice and stew" Mom said as I entered the kitchen.

"I'll pass" I replied. Rice is a meal I don't like. I can only eat it if it's Jollof or Fried rice.

"Then what will you eat?" She asked.

"I'll get something to eat on my way to school" I replied as I grabbed my black blazer and left the house.

"Please drive fast" I told my driver.
Hamdyn high is a school for rich kids only.

The school fees alone is enough to pay someone's five months salary.

It's five hundred thousand naira.
Excluding excursions, practicals and lunch food.

If I sum it all together, it's six hundred and fifty thousand naira.

It's worth it. Hamdyn high is a classy school.

The school is big. The classes are big and spacious. There's the gym, the cafeteria, the basketball court, the football field, the tennis court and the parking lot.

Our uniform is white shirt and grey skirt with black blazer for the girls.

White shirt and black trousers with black blazer for the boys. Black socks only!!

In Hamdyn high, there has to be two leaders. One for boys and another for girls.

No reason, that's just how it is.
Before you fit in, you have to go through the leader. And that's me.

For boys, it's Zephan.

My car pulled into the parking lot. My friends were waiting for me already.
