Bianca's POV

~Flashback~

I ran. I ran as fast as my legs could carry me. I needed to get out of there as soon as possible or who knows what could happen to me.

Five weeks. It had been five long, horrible weeks. I missed them more than anything. I don't even know if they were alright. Maybe they were, but there was also a high chance they were dead.

As my twelve-year-old self sprinted towards an unknown location, I could hear the sound of engines approaching. Shit. They noticed my absence and were coming for me. I couldn't let them catch me, so I used my little energy left and tried to run even faster.

I was starting to feel dizzy. My body was weak, I hadn't eaten in two days and the last glass of water I had was hours ago. But there was no way I was going to let that stop me. I had to stay strong.

After a few minutes, I arrived to a small town and I grinned for the first time in weeks. This was my opportunity, I could finally be safe. Luckily, I quickly found a police station. I went inside, screaming for help with panic, fear and desperation clear in my voice. However, the dizziness was way too much for me to handle and the last thing I remember were a couple of officers coming up to me before black dots clouded my vision and blackness consumed me.

~End of flashback~

I woke up with a jolt. I was covered in sweat, breathing heavily and with tears in my eyes threatening to fall. Suddenly, my door banged open and Madison came in followed a few seconds later by Melanie. They both rushed to me and hugged me tightly, whispering soothing words in my ears.

They were trying to call me down, but I couldn't. I was starting to have a panic attack. That flashback was one of the most relieving moments of my life, but it also brought me many bad memories. Memories of what they did to me, of what I had to do in order to escape, of what was awaiting me after that...

Soon, Sadie and Audrey came in too. I could see Alec, Josh and David were outside, but Audrey told them something and shut the door on their faces, so now it was just the five of us. Sadie came and put my hand where her heart is, so I could follow her heartbeat to steady my breathing. Meanwhile, the others were either holding my other hand or rubbing my back comfortingly. After a couple minutes, my breathing was back to normal.

"Here," Mel whispered, handing me a glass of water. I took it and whispered a small 'thanks' before gulping the whole thing down.

"Do you feel better now, sweetie?" Audrey asked with worry present in her tone.

"Yeah, guys. Sorry if I woke you up," I said, feeling guilty.

"Don't you dare apologize for this, never," Maddie scolded me and gave me a warning look.

"We'll always be here for you, Bi. You're like our sister. We just want you to be ok," Audrey assured me, squeezing my hand slightly.

"You help us when we have nightmares, let us help you too," Sadie added.

"Do you want to talk about it? Maybe it could help you," Melanie asked after a moment of silence.

I opened my mouth to answer, but I stopped myself. I was a little hesitant. It's not that I don't trust them; the total opposite actually, I trust the girls with my life. But I was scared of reliving those memories again while talking about it.

"You don't have to if you don't want to. It's fine. But just so you know, we are always here if you need a pair of ears to listen to your problems, ok?" Audrey said with a reassuring smile and I nodded.
