Power(s): She can turn her skin into metal, and when she does her fingers grows into 3 inches sharp claws along with a pair of fangs in her mouth with the poison of a black mamba (however she never uses it)
X-Men or brotherhood: X-Men
Backstory: Hariet was the middle child, born in Sweden's capital city Stockholm. She lived a quiet life until she was 15 years old, when her mutation was discoverd. Sadly, it wasn't a happy discovery. One night she was suffering frim a nightmare, and her younger sister came to wake her up. Hariet woke up when her sister shook her, but instantly turned metallic. The push she gave her sister in panic was only supposed to get whoever was there to get away from her, but her now claws plunged into her sister's throat. Another scream errupted from her, and her parents rushed in to find their middle daughter by the window, freaked out in a grey metallic shade and their youngest daughter killed on the floor on the other side of the bed. Scared out of her mind, Hariet jumped out from the window and just ran. She didn't stop until she reached a forest, where she slumped against a tree and just cried, and the metal disappeared. The professor had found her with the help of the Cerebro, and taken Kurt with him to offer her help. A few days after her sister's death, the professor found the girl lying against a tree, having not eaten and barely drunk anything since it all happend. Of course the two mutants took her in to nurse her before offering her a place to stay. Kurt stayed by her side the entire time, not wanting her to be alone. When she was finally better, she agreed to stay at the institute, not feeling secure anywhere else. She and Kurt had a few things in common, for example the language barrier as she too often mixed up her native language with english. Eventually, the two of them did become a couple, though kept it private from everyone else except for when Logan found out about it.
Weakness: Phobia of blood, the trauma over her sister, fear of lonliness, allergy to almonds and pollen. She also gets sunburned pretty easily
Other: She sleeps with her hands chained tightly to the side of the bed in fear of repeating what happend to her sister if she had a nightmare again. That's why the few nights Kurt manages to sneak to her room and spend the night with her he's always the big spoon.
