Backstory: Lucas was born in Hollywood, his powers with him from birth. However, instead of hiding him away, his parents showed him off like an animal. He was encouraged to use his powers to amaze people so that his parents could earn money for his little tricks. His parents did everything to make him famous, even recording him in his sleep to see if he would turn, and the few times he did (when he was having nightmares), the recordings were sold out to the highest bidder. When Lucas got into his teenage years he became more hostile, not wanting to be a circus animal just because his parents earned off of it, and ran away at the age of 15.
He wanted to see the world, and he knew that in order to do that he would have to pay a price, so he joined a circus. He was kept in a cage while traveling and could be starved sometimes for days, but he got to see so much more than he had before. When he was 17 the circus arrived in New York, and he was so amazed by the city he decided to leave the circus. After a few days he relised that he hadn't thought anything through, as he had no job, home nor passport. Staying in an alley and eating any rat he could find, Fury stalked him up. For once he was more about giving a kid with his abilities a home rather than recruitment, but he joined SHIELD, and at 18, he joined the Avengers, and got special training in combat from Steve.

Weakness: slight anorexia (forgets to eat, or eats too little), cameras give him PTSD, lactose intolerance, nightmares
