Chapter 11, "Passing Time"

Jayda's POV

Everyone finished up their food and we all dispersed into our own rooms to pack up. Niall volunteered to get the kids ready for us, so Harry and I took our sweet time.

"What were you and Kara talking about?" he asked.

"Nosey maybe?" I laughed.

"Well I'm just asking. You know she's like a sister to me," he said, trying to convince me to tell him.

"Yeah I know and she's like a sister to me too. Don't worry everything's fine," I said, wrapping my arms around his neck, standing on my tippy toes.

"Okay. Fine. I'll let it go," he said, placing his arms around my waist and kissing me.

"Thank you. Now, get your clothes so I can pack them." I demanded.

"Uhhhh....I thought we were going somewhere," he complained, making me laugh.

"We are. We're going home."

"You are my home," he smiled.

"I know." I teased.

"Oh wow..."

"I'm joking. You know you're my home too Mr.Styles."

I saw him grin from the corner of my eye. Just then, we heard a knock come from the door. It was Louis of course.

"Y'all all set here?" he asked.

"Yup. Everyone else ready?" Harry questioned.

"Yup. C'mon."

We carried our bags and walked out to the main hall with everyone else. I grabbed Hannah as Harry carried Hendrix.

"Well it was lovely having y'all over. Harry, your place next time?" Zayn asked.

"Sure man. Thank you for having us over," Harry said.

"Yeah man, we all had a great time, Great beds by the way," Louis teased, making Eleanor hit him.

We all laughed as Hendrix and Hannah covered their ears at the same time.

"Okay, well let us know when you guys want to come over and we'll make it happen," I told them all.

We all exchanged hugs and I told Kara to let me know as soon as she takes a test. I just had a deep feeling she was pregnant and hoped that Zayn would be happy about it.

Back Home...

The kids were still a bit tired and it was about their nap time anyway. They'll probably only stay asleep for about an hour, but anytime alone was good time.

"Are you going back to the studio today?" I asked, rubbing my hands through his hair.

"I was planning on it, but that could definitely be pushed," he said, staring into my eyes.

"Are you sure? I don't want to get in the way..." I smiled.

"Positive," he smirked, pushing my down onto the bed.

"We can't be too loud though."

"You should be telling that to yourself," he laughed.

"Oh shut up," I rolled my eyes.

an hour later....

"I should probably get going," he panted.

"Oh wow, you're just going to ruin me then leave? Fine," I joked, drawing circles on his chest.

"You know it's not like that," he smiled, kissing my nose.

"I know. I should get the kids up anyways and get the day started. It's almost 4. You go get those songs done."

"Thank you. I may be home late."

"It's fine. I know how it goes," I smiled, "I'll have dinner for you whenever you get back."

"You are a goddess," he said, getting up to go take a shower.

"And don't you ever forget it."

I put some clothes on and headed up the stairs to get the kids up. I found them sound asleep in their beds in the most adorable way. I didn't want to disturb them but I knew if I didn't get them up now, they would be up all night long.

Before I began to wake them, Harry came up to kiss me goodbye.

Harry's POV

I was actually really excited to head to the studio today. There's this song I've been working on for Jayda that I think she'll love. She's given me great motivation lately, even in the tough times. But nonetheless, Jayda is my home and she will always be.

"Hey guys, how is everyone today?" I asked.

Everyone was here today. Mitch, Sarah, Ny, Adam, and Charlotte. I've known everyone but Mitch for a while now and I was really excited to work with them  again.

"So, should we pick up where we left off with the vocals for Sweet Creature?" Sarah asked.

"That we should," I said, smiling.

"This about anyone in particular Harry, like your wife?" Mitch asked.

"I have no idea what you are talking about," I lied.

For the rest of the session, we wrote 2 more songs and added them to a potential album list. I don't know if I'm making an album yet, but I am having fun making music.

Jayda's POV

The kids and I were all in the living room. I worked as they self entertained themselves. I haven't been going into work lately just because I had to watch the kids now, but I'll be getting help soon. I don't know who but somebody surely will be able to help.

hours later....

It was just about to be 7 and I decided to go ahead and get dinner ready for the kids. I didn't expect Harry to be home early, but I definitely didn't want to sleep alone so I decided to wait up.

I made quesadillas and rice and watched as the kids chowed down. I guess they tired themselves out because they kept yawning.

"Okay you two, let's get y'all ready for bed."

I took them up to put on their pajamas and kissed them goodnight. And now, I wait....
