"These are all the passages where we can enter, and exit as well. You see those red signs, these are all the CCTVs around the museum," Xord explained while showing his members the blueprint of the famous museum in Spain.
"Ephraim and Greg, the both of you are assigned with guns and katanas. Attack everyone who have a snake tattoo on their neck," malamig na baling nito sa dalawang lalaki na agad sumaludo.
"Kyel and Teodore, do everything to enter that fucking museum. Kayo ang mauuna, and you also have to attach these devices around the area. There are cameras inside it," baling naman nito sa dalawa pang lalaki na nasa likuran.
"And Astreille." Nilingon ng dalaga ang binata nang bumaling ito sa kaniya.
"Yes boss?" she responded.
"You'll come with me. We need to erase all the traces on the CCTV footage once they get there. You'll also change the time and edit the footage so it would look normal," paliwanag nito.
"And after that?" dugtong ng dalaga.
Xord smirked. "We're going to follow them. Bring your guns with you, everyone. We're going to fly all the way to Spain later at midnight."
Sumaludo silang lahat sa lalaki bago yumuko. "Yes, sir."
"Sign all these papers, we need to change our names when we got in Spain."
Isa isang binigay ni Ephraim ang folder sa mga kaibigan. Astreille saw how the three guys signed the paper they're holding.
Akala niya naman ay kung ano na. She just signed the paper on her hands before giving it to Ephraim. Ephraim checked if they really signed it before handling the papers to Xord.
"Dismiss."
Sari't saring bulungan at reklamo ang pinakawalan ng apat na lalaki habang papasakay sa elevator. Astreille just chuckled with that, nakita niya rin ang pagka-irita sa mukha ni Xord habang tinatanaw ang mga binata.
When the elevator closed, Astreille immediately approached Xord who gladly welcomed her for a hug.
Malugod niyang niyakap ang lalaki. "Okay ka na? Hindi na ba masama ang pakiramdam mo? Baka kasi mamaya bigla kang sinatin."
"Nah, I'm fine. Don't worry about me anymore," he answered.
"Do I really have to come with you after hacking the CCTVs? I can just s-stay inside, you know. Baka ako pa ang makasira sa--"
"I thought you're ready for this, Astreille?"
"About what?" takang tanong ng dalaga.
"Aren't you getting ready to avenge your father? This is only the first step, baby, taking a risk," mariing paliwanag ng lalaki.
Lumihis ang tingin ng dalaga dahil doon. "Yeah. I almost forgot about that."
"Good then, come on baby, we still have lots of work to do. Have you eaten breakfast?" Naging malambing na ang boses ng binata nang itanong nito 'yon.
She nodded her head, her eyes are still unfocused. "Oo, k-kumain na ako bago pumunta rito. Ikaw?"
"I'm not a breakfast person, Astreille," he said while smiling.
Hinayaan na lang ng dalaga ang lalaki hablutin siya nito sa baywang bago siya halikan nang marahan sa mga labi.
Kinawit niya ang magkabilang braso sa leeg ng lalaki bago tumingkayad, para maabutan niya ang tangkad nito.
He held her waist tightly before pulling her closer to deepened the kiss.
"Boss 'yung-- Woah!"
Agad na lumayo si Astreille sa binata nang marinig ang boses ng mga lalaki sa elevator.
Pinamulahan siya ng mukha nang ma-realize na nasaksihan ng mga 'to ang paghahalikan nilang dalawa!
Mabilis na nagtago ang dalaga sa likod ni Xord na nakakunot ang noo sa inis. "What?!"
"Woah. Sorry boss, 'di naman namin alam na nag-lo-loving loving na kayo ni princess dito, you should have warn us!" Teodore exclaimed while smiling.
Sumilip si Astreille mula sa likod ng binata. She saw how amusement took over their faces.
"Hey, princess. Huwag ka nang magtago diyan, alam naman namin na may relasyon kayo ni boss," Greg called her attention.
Lumabas mula sa likod ng binata ang dalaga, nahihiya siyang tumungo. "A-Anong relasyon?"
"Oh, boss told me to tell these guys that you two are dating already." Si Ephraim ang sumagot sa tanong niya.
Kunot noong hinarap ni Astreille ang boss niya habang may pagtataka sa mukha. "We're n-not dating--"
"Yeah, we're not dating. We are in a relationship already, Astreille is my girlfriend." Mas nanlaki pa ang mga mata ng babae sa sagot nito.
Talagang inanunsyo pa sa mga kasama nila!
"X-Xord. I don't--"
"Sige boss, una na kami ulit sa baba. We'll just send you an email regarding our questions." Kumaway ang tatlong lalaki sa direksyon nila bago muling sumakay sa elevator.
Ephraim stayed inside.
Muling hinarap ni Astreille si Xord. Until now, she's confused about what he said. He didn't even court her!
"B-Boss. Hindi tayo, we're not i-in a relationship but why did you tell them that I'm your girlfriend already?" she asked in frustration.
"You are, my girlfriend, already Astreille. The moment you willingly accepted my lips against you, you're already mine," bulong nito sa kaniya.
Napabuntong hininga na lamang ang dalaga nang dire-diretsyo siyang lagpasan ni Xord papaalis.
Ephraim approached the girl before smiling widely. "Are you still nervous? You really don't need to get scared about, us, knowing what's happening between you and Xord. We're all happy for the both of you."
Astreille opened the pendant on her necklace to look at her dad's picture inside it. "I never had the chance to be with other man aside from my dad. And Xord is an unpredicable man, I don't even know what's running inside our boss' mind."
"You can trust him, Astreille. I assure you. He never kissed other girls, we've been together for 6 years and I witness how aloof he is whenever there are girls around." Parang nabunutan ng tinik ang dalaga sa narinig.
Xord told her to trust him, at ngayon, si Ephraim na rin ang nagkumpirma na dapat niyang pagkatiwalaan ang binata.
Maybe she really judged him because of his image and his surname. That's not even right.
"Is that your mother?" Nilingon ng dalaga si Ephraim nang makitang nakatuon ang mga mata nito sa picture sa loob ng pendant.
It's a picture of her mom and dad, she doesn't want to see her mom's first. Pero nanay niya pa rin naman ito.
"Yes, why?"
Kumunot ang noo ni Astreille nang makita kung paano mamutla ang mukha ni Ephraim sa sagot niya.
"She's y-your mom?"
