KABANATA XIX
Third Person's POV
This demon moves three times faster than a normal wolf. Which makes her even more dangerous. It appears that he is no longer able to flee. But then, just like a loyal pack soldier he is, he remains in his position and is ready to face even death. That's the last thing he can do to demonstrate his devotion to his own pack.
But before he faced this demon. He made sure to give his last report to their alpha. So that they are all aware of the disaster that has struck their territory and can evacuate as soon as possible.
"Mukhang matapang kang lobo." Muling usal nito, mas tumundi ang pagkabog ng kanyang dibdib at kilabot sa kanyang pakiramdam ng makita niya ang pamumuo ng ngisi sa labi nito.
"I like your guts. If you like, I want to offer you something." Sambit nito sa kanya. Inside his wolf form is his human form, which is now filled with confusion and curiosity as to why those evil warlocks sent such a powerful creature to attack them.
Looks like those evil warlocks already want to annihilate their whole pack and completely wipe it off of the map. Which he can't let happen.
"Serve under me and I'll spare your life. Deal?" Her grin widened as he locked his gaze on her for a brief moment. He can't help but let out a growl towards her when he realized what she stated.
"You want me to betray my own pack and serve you? Then I'd rather die than serve a demon like y—" Hindi niya na natapos ang nais sabihin ng putulin siya nito.
"—well then." He was cut off and didn't even blink a second when the woman vanished and all he could remember is the excruciating pain and numbness in his body before everything went black.
Unfortunately, the demon beheaded the pack soldier in an instant, but the signal he gave has now spread like wildfire throughout the crescent moon pack.
Crescent Moon Pack
"Magmadali! Isang makapangyarihang nilalang ang ipinadala ng mga warlock na iyon! Kung gusto niyo pang mabuhay ay bilisan ninyo sa pagalaw!" "Kamusta ang sitwasyon ng buong pack?" Seryosong sambit nito at diretsong tumayo sa gilid ng mesa kung saan nakalatag ang mapa ng buong pack.
"Kasalukuyan pang nililipat ang mga miyembro sa underground site ngunit kukulangin tayo sa oras Alpha." Diretsong usal ng isa sa mga heneral na naroon. Kaagad na napabuntong hininga ang alpha dahil doon.
"How about that monster?" Baling nito sa head general. Imposibleng ma-evacuate ang lahat kaya naman tinitingnan na lang nila ang possible nilang gawin para madagdagan ang oras na meron sila. Which is to prevent that monster from reaching the pack by slowing it down.
However, that also means sacrificing many of his pack soldiers in the process.
"The monster was currently situated here, at this area. Hindi namin sigurado kung saang eksaktong lokasyon ngunit malapit iyon sa west forest." Mabilis na usal ng kanyang gamma.
Naningkit ang mata ng kanilang Alpha dahil doon. Siya ang pinaka-unang binigyan ng signal ni heneral Kalime bago ito nawala sa linya.
"West forest. Those warlocks again." Nanggigigil nausal ng kanilang Beta.
