Saturday arrived faster than I thought it would. I woke up this morning and remembered that I was supposed to hangout with Cedric today.

I went in the bathroom. While I waited for the shower to warm up I sat on the toilet and saw that I just had my period. I rolled my eyes. What a good way to start the day, I thought. After my shower I put a/my *insert period product you use if you do have a period :)* and blow dried my hair. I put on some light makeup and dressed up.

I got down in the common room and didn't see Cedric. I realized we didn't really give each other a time and place to meet up. But just as I thought about that, I heard someone behind me.

"Hey!"

It was him.

"Hi!"

"How are you?"

"I'm good you?"

"Pretty good! You look really pretty!" He said with a nice smile.

"Oh thank you!"

"So, are you ready to go? We can have breakfast at The Three Broomsticks if you want."

"Yes that'd be great."

We started walking towards Hogsmeade. We entered the restaurant. Cedric ordered blueberries pancakes with a side of breakfast potatoes and I took a plate of eggs, bacon and fruits (it's a smoothie bowl with fruits if you don't eat meat!). It was delicious!

"I heard you lived in the muggle world before?"

I knew he wasn't judgmental, but after Malfoy's remarks I wasn't sure it was a good thing anymore. I blushed awkwardly.

"Yeah." I said chuckling.

"How was it?"

"Honestly, not so different from here. Everything's the same except for magic!"

"What do they eat in the muggle world?" He asked genuinely.

"Well everything's pretty much the same, except for the treats and candies."

"What's your favourite candy from there?"

"Sour patch kids." I said laughing.

"Hm... Kids?"

"No no no! Don't worry, they're not kids. They're just shaped as little guys."

"Ohhh I see. Well I'd like to try some one day!" He told me, smiling.

"What are your favourite candies?"

"Well it's nothing you won't know of, but it's the Every Flavoured Beans! I think it's so funny to wait and see people eat all the bad ones!"

"But aren't you scared each time you eat them? You have a lot of chance to have a vomit, dirt and grass flavoured one."

"At first yes, but now I master these candies. I'm able to tell which is which and left all the bad ones in there."

"Pretty impressive!"

After we were done eating we walked through Hogsmeade. We entered Honeydukes. Cedric bought some Every Flavoured Beans. He sorted all the beans in silence. Then there were to piles in the box.

"Try one from the right side."

"Okay."

I took it and it tasted really good! We started eating from the right side and they ALL tasted great. He really did separate them. We talked while we headed back to the castle. We entered the common room.

"It was great!" He said.

"Yes it was, thank you." I said with a small smile.

"Want to play chess?" He asked.

"Always."

We played a lot of games in front of the fire. Then he put some music in the common room and we started dancing. We had a really good time.

If some of you were wondering why I put
a/my for the period products it's because I wanted cup users if there are some here to feel included with the "my"! Just a little reminder that every period product from pads to tampons to menstrual cups to period underwears are totally valid! Free bleeders are valid too! Respect everyone! :)
