"Ma, what they do at school? They play?" Jr asked while I poured some milk in his cereal
"You go to school to learn"
"Learn? That sound boring"
I looked at him while he kept his eyes on his cereal
"I'm not going to school"
"Yes the hell you are"
"No im not. I don't wanna go if I gotta learn"
"We'll see. When that bus come watch that ass get right on the bus"
"And ima jump out the window" he laughed before eating a spoonful of cereal making me roll my eyes
"Shut up and eat the damn cereal"
"Dang ma. You ain gotta curse"
I cut my eyes at jr before going to put the milk up and shy walked his happy ass into the kitchen.
"The hell you smiling for?" I asked him
"Damn I can't smile?"
I stared at him for a minute before shaking my head "no"
"Daddy, did you go to school?" Jr asked shy and he shook his head
"Hell Nah, fuck sch-" he was quickly cut off by me punching him in his arm "I'm just playing. Yeah I went to school, why?"
"Your child thinks learning is boring so he don't wanna go in August"
"Unt unnn. Nigga yo ass going to school"
The look on jr's face made me laugh. He probably expected his daddy to be on his side about going to school. He went back to eating and I sighed
"I miss when my baby was just a baby. Now he's grown as hell.. and bad as hell"
"They ain lied when they said babies grow up fast"
"Well hopefully the next one won't grow up so fast" I told shy as he leaned back on the counter beside me and looked at me
"Oh you decided you want another one now"
"It pretty much don't matter at this point because regardless, I'm still pregnant" I told him while I kept my eyes on jr
"You what?" Shy asked and I eventually looked at him
"I'm pregnant"
"You tellin te truth or you fuckin wimme?"
"I'm telling the truth baby. All the tests came back positive.... all six of em"
The way shy's whole face lit up made me laugh cause I could tell he was genuinely happy right now. He grabbed my hands and pulled me in front of him, wrapping his arms around me giving me a hug and I laughed
"After this my tubes getting tied"
"I'm fine with that. I got my one more" he told me before kissing me
"Ewww can y'all stop that?" Jr asked causing the both of us to look at him
"Shut up and eat that soggy ass cereal" shy told him
"How you think he gone act when he find out?" I asked shy and he looked at jr again
"Jr, you wanna brother or sister?"
