"You lucky I love you bitch cause I had to turn all the way around to go back home and get it cause I left it at home" destiny told me as she handed me the case that held the watch I got benji for his birthday. I had to get destiny to hold into it because I knew how nosy benji was
I opened it and pulled the watch out, turning it around to look at the back and sucked my teeth
"Tell me why the hell this man engraved my kids names on the back but not mine"
"Forreal?" She laughed and I showed her
"I'm the one that paid for the shit and my name ain on it"
"If You'on get a knife or something sharp and put ya name on it"
I looked at her and we both laughed while Angel walked into the break room, clocking in for the day
"All I know us you better show out tomorrow for his birthday and I ain talkin bout no gifts or nothing"

"You know last time I told you that and you responded with the same thing, months later I was holding your hair back while you threw up yo Chinese food into the trash can"
"And ended up with fuckin twins. I was mad as hell"

Angel cleared her throat before walking out of the break room and once she was gone destiny looked at me
"Anyways.. how is Hendrix?"
"He's doing okay. He not crying about his arm as much but he'll say every now and then that it hurts. I hate this for my son"
"I hope you plan on going through with suing the school cause that teacher should've been watching him. You don't leave a bunch of three and four year olds alone on no playground for no reason whatsoever"

I put the watch back in the case and closed it, went over to where my stuff was and put it in my bag while destiny got up and followed me out of the break room
"It ain even 8 yet. Is it?"
"Girl no. We ain open yet"
"Good morning ladies" Dr Johnson greeted us, one of the newest doctors at the office and also the youngest, only 29 years old
"Good morning" the both of us responded in unison as he walked to the back and destiny shook a little
