"As you can see this garage area had a lot more car space than the other two we saw. And also unlike the other two that had a small break room..." the man said as he led us to another room in the building, turning in a light "this one has a lot more room with a newly installed sink and fridge"
Ari walked over to the fridge with her mouth open a little, opening it
"This is a fisher & paykel with integrated French doors... what the fuck"
The man showing us the building looked at her as she looked in the fridge
"She's a chef" my momma informed him making him nod
"Shit, all I know is it's a refrigerator" I shrugged and my momma laughed while looking around as well
"What y'all think about this one?"
"I like this one better than the other two"
"Yeah. Plus it got the two office spaces so they can keep the kids and let them play in one" bri said as she crossed her arms over her chest, probably uncomfortable cause even I noticed the man kept looking at her
"They do NOT deserve a fridge like this.. but I like it" Ari added while closing the refrigerator door
"I'm surprised you could find something like this in our price range"
"Actually this is a little over your price range"
"By how much?"
"Close to 7 grand"
Me, Bri and Ari looked at him some kinda way
"7 grand??"
"He warned me and I told him to still show it to y'all" my momma told us, reading our stares "I don't need y'all worrying about prices. Do y'all want it?"
"I mean.. yeah"
"Okay then. Ima take care of that little 7 grand"
"I'm ready to be able to just call seven thousand dollars little" Ari muttered and my momma laughed
"Soon. Just work hard, be patient and stay consistent. That's how I got where I am"
"Period ma" I smiled
"And to make it even better, I had one of the best divorce lawyers" she winked and I shook my head laughing
"Well y'all. I guess this is where our men bout to be making their money at" Bri said as she walked out of the break room area and I followed behind her along with everybody else. I looked around again smiling
"Yeahhh. They deserve it"
"They do" my mom nodded "All of y'all do. Im so proud of how much y'all have grown over the years, especially them because they really could be running the streets again but instead they all decided to step up and better men. Showing these babies it's more to life than the streets. That's why that 7 grand is little to me. So come on and let's get this paperwork done so y'all can get these keys and prepare to surprise these boys"
"Guess who about to get their baby number 4 forreal after this" I boasted with my tongue out and she shook her head, rolling her eyes
"Girl..."
I could hear Ari laugh and when I turned to look I saw that she was laughing at bri who had her face frowned up
"What?"
"That man lucky shy ain here. You should see how he looking at her"
