"You always on my mind, when you come around I get shy when I see youuuuuu" Meechie sung on the phone in the background while I was on FaceTime with Ari.
She just looked at him like she was trying not to laugh and I shook my head
"Sound like somebody had a good day at work" I said with a laugh and Ari ran her tongue across her teeth before looking back down in the camera still trying not to laugh
"He need to take his ass back" she told me before looking up at him again "are you done-"
"SOME-THEING NOW IS TAKING OHHHH-VERRRR MEEEE" he sung louder which caused kinsley, who I had at the table with me feeding her some potatoes, jumped a little but then ended up laughing
Ari couldn't hold her laughter in nomore and I eventually laughed as well
"Meechie is a wholeee different breed" I told Ari and she nodded, crying laughing at this point
I could hear the door open and it sounded like Benji now singing so I looked back seeing shy walk past first shaking his head
"Feelinggggssss so deep in my feelinnnngggsss" Benji sung and his voice immediately caught Kinsley's attention so she pushed the spoon away from her mouth and started whining
"Girllll" I rolled my eyes as Benji walked into the kitchen smiling "two of my favorite girls!" He said enthusiastically as he walked over to the table and grabbed kinsley who was already reaching for him
"What the hell happened at work that got y'all all in a good mood?.. well except shy"
"I'm in a good mood?" He asked and I nodded
"Yeah and I kinda like it"
"Well Meechie won't shut up over here" Ari said as Meechie continued to sing
"Where Kyran and Hendrix?" Benji asked me
"Hendrix upstairs with jr and Kyran in his crib sleep"
"Kyran ass stay sleep like he be workin"
"Leave my son alone. He be tired"
Benji shook his head while he walked over to the fridge holding kinsley still
"What y'all wanna eat? I'm cookin tonight" he asked and I rose my eyebrow before looking down at my phone
"...Ari ima call you back"
"Alright" she replied before hanging up and I put my phone down before standing up, going over to the fridge as well and pushed it closed standing in front of Benji
"What did you do?"
"Huh?"
"I know you Dimitri. What did you do?"
"Damn it's like that?" He chuckled as kinsley laid her head on his shoulder
"Yeah it's like that cause like I said... I know you. And I know when you up to something. All of y'all"
"Who said I wasn't tryina surprise you with some?" He asked, looking me up and down. I rolled my eyes
"When you wanna surprise me you like to be rude first so try again."
I could hear Kyran start to cry so I took my attention off of Benji and walked off to go upstairs and get my son. By the time I got upstairs and went the room I saw that the room light was already on and Hendrix was standing at the crib tryina reach up to grab Kyran. I couldn't help but smile and laugh
"I got him baby" I told Hendrix as I walked over to the crib and picked Kyran up while Hendrix stepped back and watched.
"Pleaseee" he said as he held his hands up to hold Kyran
"He bout bigger than you Hendrix. Here, ima put him on the floor and he can crawl" I told him while putting Kyran down. Kyran just sat there looking at Hendrix with that sam nonchalant ass look on his face
Benji eventually walked into the room still holding Kinsley and when Hendrix saw his daddy he got excited, running over to him and hugged his leg
"Daddyyyy" he yelled which must've sparked Kyran interest because Kyran smiled and started to crawl in Hendrix's direction but eventually stopped midway
He then pushed himself up and started walking, taking about five steps before falling back down by that was more than enough to get me excited
"Benji did you see that! Did you see that!!!!?" I asked him while he was smiling crouching down
"Nah getcho ass back up" he told Kyran who just laughed, getting ready to crawl now
"Get up" Hendrix told Kyran as well then walked over to him, tryina pick him up but Kyran pushed his hand away and sat on his butt again
"Leave him alone Hendrix. I guess he said he walked enough for the day" I told him while I picked Kyran up. Benji stood up, moving kinsley to his other arm and I just sat on the bed, putting Kyran down on the bed and Hendrix ran out of the room
"Mommy so proud of you Kyran!" I smiled "now we just gotta get your spoiled ass sister to walk"
"My daughter ain bother nobody so leave her alone" Benji instantly defended kinsley
"You sir.. need to tell me what the hell you, Meechie and shy got going on"
He sat kinsley on the bed as well before taking his shirt off and laid back on the bed beside the twins
"I'm bout to quit my job"
I looked back at him, staying quiet for a while
"Ummm.. okay..... and may I ask why?"
He smiled while he moved to the end of the bed where I was like he was excited as hell to tell me whatever it is he had to say
"We bout to start a business"
"A business?"
Benji nodded "Fixing cars and selling em. I ain realize how good I was at this kinda shit until a nigga started working"
"I'm listening...."
"We just bout to test it out first though before we quit that bitch Forreal. We just paid cash for this used car and after we fix that shit up, see how much it can go for.. then we'll know if we gone keep going or not" benji explained while I just looked at him
I could tell he was excited by how his tone actually had a lot more personality than usual and I honestly loved seeing him this excited. It was cute as hell
"And where y'all gone do all of this fixing on cars.. if y'all do decide to do it"
"We'll find a building or some when we get to all of that"
I nodded
"Okay.. well if that whatchu wanna do then do it. I support you 100% baby"
"Forreal?"
"Yes Benji. But instead of y'all talking about it, create a business plan so y'all can have everything mapped out. You know... I can help you with it too and MJ got her own lil shit going on so I'm sure she can help too. Plus I can talk to my momma and see if she can invest in y'all plan"
Benji wore the biggest smile on his face as he stood up and grabbed my hands, pulling me up as well to wrap his arms around me
"I love you kay"
"I love you too" I replied before kissing him
