"So I talked to the lady over the preschool and she said we could come anytime this week so Hendrix can get a look around and get himself comfortable before he starts going and..." Kay stopped to sigh "ion like that my baby is growing up"
When she realized I wasn't saying anything to her she pushed me off of her, being that I was just sitting there being childish sucking on her neck
"Stop tryina be nasty this early in the morning"
"We can be getting nasty right now but yo lame ass wanna go to work"
"Because unlike you, I'm not my own boss. I can't just stay home when I feel like it or go whenever I please" she told me while she grabbed her shirt and put it on over her tank top she wore and then grabbed her jacket, putting it on too
"You ain gotta work. I told you that"
"I know.. but other than that bitter ass ex of yours, I really do love my job"
"Ion got no ex, ion know whatchu talkin bout"
She twisted her lips to the side and grabbed her keys off of the kitchen table
"Anyways.. Hendrix and the twins are up and ready to go to my momma so all you gotta do is drop them off"
"Kay I know how to take care of my kids. You do this every morning"
"Because sometimes people forget stuff so a reminder won't hurt"
"YOU forget shit"
She sucked her teeth "whatever dimitri. I need to go, I don't need to be late on a Monday. Oh, and we need to still come up with something to do for the twins cause they turn one next week"
"I thought you was gone get on that?"
"I was but I forgot"
"I bet so"
"Oh hush... I'll see you later. I love you" Kay told me before kissing me and grabbed the rest of her stuff
"I love you too. Don't be doing no stupid shit at work"
"I'll think about it"
I laughed a little and shook my head while she finally left. Once Kay was gone I went into the living room seeing Hendrix sitting on the chair quietly watching that stupid ass word party, twisting his cup in his hand while Kinsley slept on the other end of the chair and Kyran minded his business walking around the living room with one of Kay's house shoes in his hand
When Hendrix saw me he held his cup up
"My juice daddy"
"What wrong witcho juice?" I asked as Kyran dropped the shoe and walked over to me so I picked him up before I grabbed Hendrix's cup from him
"More juice daddy" Hendrix told me
"Whatchu supposed to say?"
"Pleaseeee"
I went in the kitchen still holding Kyran and my phone started ringing in my pocket
"Mann damn" I cursed. I tried to put Kyran down but he ain wanted to get down, instead he just lifted his legs up looking at me nonchalantly
"So it's like that today huh?" I asked him and he just looked off from me so I sat Hendrix cup down, took my phone out my pocket, put it on speaker and sat it down so I could put some juice in Hendrix cup
