"Ma" Hendrix yelled out loud from the kitchen while I sat in the living room of Bri and shy's house changing kinsley
"I'm coming. Hold on"
I finished buttoning up kinsley's onesie, slipped her pants back on and put her back down on the ground to walk around before going over to where Hendrix was tryina decorate some cookies with jr. I looked at the mess they were making and laughed.
"What's up baby?"
"Auntie Kay look at Hendrix cookie" jr laughed while pointing at it "mine look better than his"
"If you don't leave my baby alone. His cookie is cute"
"No it ain't. That cookie ugly"
I ducked my teeth and looked at his cookie
"Why yours missing the head?"
He rubbed his stomach "cause I got hungry"
I couldn't help but laugh at jr as bri walked into the kitchen holding Kyran
"I wanna see-jr where the hell your head at on yours?"
"Auntie Kay ate it" he just lied with no hesitation, keeping his focus on decorating his cookie and I scoffed
"Jr.. I ate your cookie?" I asked and he nodded
"Yeah"
"That boy lie so bad" bri sighed then tapped my arm "I need you real quick"
"What's wrong?" I asked, following her down the hall and into Brielle's room where Meechie, shy, benji and Ari were. Ari sat on the floor laughing while Meechie and shy were going back and forth about something and benji sat in the chair shaking his head laughing
"What's going on in here?" I asked, looking and saw that they put the baby swing together "awe, y'all finished it?"
" no" bri answered and meechie sucked his teeth
"It is done"
"No its not"
"If it's done then what is is this?" Ari asked while holding some screws in her hand
"Them extras" Meechie answered and I stretched my eyes out while Bri looked over at me
"You see why I needed you?"
I laughed and walked all the way into the room, walking over by benji "you put up how many baby swings before?"
Benji shrugged "shit.. I told em and they don't wanna listen to me"
"I'm not putting my baby in that shit. They better fix it"
"Ain nothing wrong with it.. watch. Put Kyran in it" Meechie told bri and I looked at him crazy
"No the hell you don't" benji wasted no time telling him as kinsley walked into the room with one of the ornaments from the tree in her hands
"Come here kinsley" Meechie smiled and benji shook his head looking at kinsley
"No you don't kinsley"
She stood there looking around at everybody before coming over to benji and reached her arms up
"Y'all ain bout to set my baby up" benji said as he picked her up and sat her in his lap
"You know what.." I walked over to it and pressed my hand down in the seat of the swing and it instantly fell apart from the rest of the structure
