"C-C-C-COUNTERRRRR!!" Thanks to Kirishima's hardened body, it was difficult for Bakugo to use his explosions on him. Kirishima managed to land a scratch on him and he jumped back.

'He ain't even stumbling! Figures, he ain't just getting tough skin.' Bakugo thought.

"I told ya it won't work, Bakugo!!" Kirishima laughed.

"Go for the jaw, Kirishima!!! The jaw!!!" Testutestu shouted.

"Guess yesterday's nemesis is today's comrade." One of his classmate said.

"Looks like Bakugo can't land a hit against Kirishima's fierce swipes!!" Present Mic yelled.

"Go down already!!" Kirishima shouted, while continuously attacking Bakugo, who is just dodging his punches.

While Midoriya, who just got out of the infirmary, was watching the match, Iida called out to him.

"Seems like your surgery went well! I'm so relieved!" Iida smiles at him.

"Ah, thanks! But more importantly, how did you end up beating Shiozaki's thorns!?" Midoriya asked him.

"She stood no chance against my speed! I floored a recipro-burst the second the bell sounded, grasped her by the back and pushed her out! Which reminds me, you can watch what you missed on video replay later and see for yourself. I... made it to the top 5. I'm going to make ample use of your fight against Todoroki." Iida explained.

"Right. I wonder if your brother Ingenium is watching you fight." He replied.

"He gave me a call earlier, but... he was busy with work. Though honestly, I'm happier this way. For now, having reached this far, I will need to report back to him as no.1!" Iida happily exclaimed. Hearing Present Mic scream turned their attention back to the fight at hand.

"IT CONNECTED!!?" They looked down to see Kirishima clutching his side with a painful expression on his face as his opponent finally managed to land a hit on him.

"Yo, fuckface, don't tell me you haven't been keeping up that full body armor for way too long! So if I keep wailing on you with quick strikes while you're in that state some parts gotta give out sooner or later!" And with a crazy smile, he bombards Kirishima with explosions.

"NOW DIEEE!!!" And with the final explosion, Kirishima is knocked unconscious.

"Well, you musta known not to pitch a war of attrition against me, huh?" He smirked.

"And Bakugo advances to the third round through a downright nasty carpet bombing!! With this the top 5 have assembled!!"

"I'll be back." Iida said Midoriya, and walks off as his fight with (Y/n) is about to start.

(Y/n)'s POV.

I was in a waiting room with Mash and Fou listening to Present Mic's comments on Bakugo's and Kirishima's match.

"And Bakugo advances to the third round with a nasty carpet bombing!!"

"And... Bakugo holds nothing back as usual." I deadpanned.

"He certainly is frightening when fighting." Mash said before smiling, "Anyways Fou and I wanted to wish you luck in your fight against Iida!"

"Fou!!"

I smiled, "thank you! I know everyone at Chaldea is supporting me, so I won't let them down!"

"That's the spirit!" Mash happily exclaimed.

I got up from my seat, "Well it's about time I get going!" And walked to the door.

"Good luck, Senpai!"
