Awful Predictions

Note: I think I'm going to say this in every chapter, I AM STILL FIXING THE GRAMMAR, PUNCTUATION, VOCABULARY, AND LITERALLY EVERYTHING. I DON'T KNOW WHAT CHAPTERS Y'ALL ARE ONE BUT I'M HOPING IT AIN'T A FREAKING MESSED UP ONE, thanks. x



All the Gryffindors were talking in the common room, mostly about the ball, and the tournament. 

"I'm going to ask Lily!" James said getting up,

"spare me your wines when she says no" Clara said pushing him back onto the couch, he got back up anyways, and walked up to Lily, 

"hey lils" he called her smirking, Lily knowing what was about to happen rubbed her forehead,

"hello Potter" she answered,

"wanna come to the ball with me?" He asked her smiling excitedly,

"fine" she said and walked away, James started shouted cries of joy, jumping up and down, he ran over to them, 

"HAHA SHE FINALLY SAID YES!" He shouted still jumping and went on to running around with Sirius who had joined him, Clara rolled her eyes and laughed. 

"Well Clara anyone ask you to the ball yet?" Remus asked her,

"er no not yet" the thought of going to the ball alone just hit her, what if no one ends up asking me to the ball?! she thought, and was snapped out of her thoughts by Remus snapping his fingers in her face, 

"Clara, helloooo" he said,

"oh yes! What?" she answered and looked at him,

"I was trying to tell you-" he started and he was cut off by James,

"hey Clara, Remus, we're going to put our names in the goblet you coming?" he asked across the room, 

"right just a second we'll write down our names" Clara handed Remus a piece of parchment, they wrote their names down and ran to follow James and Sirius. They ran down the stairs to the Great Hall, where the goblet was, everyone was there watching to see who was entering their name, they cheered when they saw the marauders run in and fight to enter their name first, 

"I am most worthy!" Clara said in a dramatic voice,

"but alas I am!" James pushed her out of his way, and they started fighting to put their name in first. Remus and Sirius took advantage of this and entered their names while the students cheered, Clara finally put her name in after Remus, and then James put his name it at last, everyone started cheering, 

"Potter, Lupin, Black!" on repeat as the four walked out confidently, on their way out they saw Jason Dabrowski enter the great hall, Jason walked up to the goblet of fire and dropped his name in it. Clara stood there and watched as it happened, Sirius, James, and Remus watching her smile mischievously, then Jason walked past Clara and winked at her, and she smiled to herself turning red. 

"Come on guys lets go" Sirius eyed Clara carefully as she watched Jason leave she played with her hair, twirling it around her finger. They were going to leave when Clara said, "you guys go ahead, I'm going to the library" she said and walked off confidently, James, and Remus shrugged, while Sirius watched her until he was out of his sight, and they left to the courtyard.

At the library...

Clara was reading a book titled, Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them by Newt Scamander , Jason saw her sitting and reading, so he sat beside her, "hey" he said as he sat down,

"oh hello" she said looking up from her book,

"will you come to the ball with me?" he asked her, she looked back up from the book she was reading, blushing and grinning, 

"sure!" she said happily, gave him a kiss on the cheek, got up and left beaming to herself, Jason looked at her smiling as she walked away clumsily. 

"Cissy!" Clara called her as she walked in the Slytherin common room, Narcissa came running to her, 

"hey Clara!" she said happily, "guess what! Lucius asked me to the ball!" She squealed,

"that's awesome Cissy!" she clapped, "Jason Dabrowski asked me!" she squealed,

"you mean Jason Dabrowski as in Jason Dabrowski, pure-blood, popular, Gryffindor?" she asked Clara excitedly, 

"yes!" Clara exclaimed and they started jumping around happily.

"What's up with all the noise you two?" Regulus walked to them,

"Jason Dabrowski asked me to the ball!" Clara informed him happily as she kept jumping around with Narcissa, 

"that's awesome Clara!" and he joined Narcissa and Clara in their jumping. Clara told Severus, Andromeda, Barty, and Lucius about the news and they all congratulated her, she was walking to divination, when Sirius walked up beside her, 

"you got a date to the ball?" he asked her as they continued walking to divination,

"yup!" she answered him, Sirius nodded and they went up the ladder to divination.

In divination class...

"So which one of us are going to die today?" Clara sighed and sat down beside Remus on the table in class, 

"I reckon it might be you, you've been wearing a lot of red and black lately" Remus joked with a serious face, then they both burst out laughing. 

"Ah Mr. Lupin you have made a false prediction my child" Professor Trelawny said (guys I know Trelawny didn't teach during their time but I don't know who did, so lets just pretend😀) 

"The boy named James Potter is in grave danger" Professor Trelawny said in her weird misty voice, Sirius snorted and fell of his chair laughing, the rest of the marauders joining in, Trelawny rolled her eyes and tutted them, resuming her position to the front of the class. 

After class, the marauders left mocking Trelawny, 

"The boy named James Potter is in grave danger" they kept on repeating and bursting from laughter.
