The Second Competition

Note: I think I'm going to say this in every chapter, I AM STILL FIXING THE GRAMMAR, PUNCTUATION, VOCABULARY, AND LITERALLY EVERYTHING. I DON'T KNOW WHAT CHAPTERS Y'ALL ARE ONE BUT I'M HOPING IT AIN'T A FREAKING MESSED UP ONE, thanks. x

The second competition took place in the training grounds, were the champions had to successfully ride a broomstick, then catching a pixie. The four champions were struggling to catch the vain pixies, 

"get back here you!" you could hear Jason shouting, 

Xenophilius however was trying to compliment the pixie, "oh! I love your beautiful wings!" he gasped trying to catch it. 

Andromeda and Edward who were constantly bumping into each other because of their focus on the pixies made everyone laugh mercilessly. 

"I think Lovegood's doing the best so far" Clara noticed confidently, 

"I reckon he'll win if not Andromeda" Sirius shrugged, the rest nodded in agreement. 

"And Dabrowski catches his pixie!" Dumbledore announced, "he has now secured his spot as first place", everyone cheered. 

"Clara" Sirius tapped her from behind her,

"yea?" She turned around, 

"I wanted to apologize again for last night it wasn't very sensible of me" he choked out,

"let me guess, Remus told you what to say?" She laughed,

"you know I'm not good at these kind of stuff" he responded chuckling, she laughed and turned to Remus.

"Next time give him a line he can handle" she laughed, the three of them laughed. They looked at James who was trying to impress Lily, "and that's how I caught the snitch due to my immense talent!" Lily rolled her eyes

"Now if you will, could you maybe use that immense talent of yours to back off?" She asked smiling sweetly, he laughed nervously and moved over back to the marauders. 

"You know valentines day is coming soon" Peter piped up, 

"it's in February Pete" Clara laughed, 

"oh" "got confused" he fumbled and laughed. Clara understandably smiled nodded her head, 

"there is New Years however" Clara reminded them, "you could ask her to Hogsmeade" she suggested, 

"brilliant idea Clara!" James said getting up,

"not now James!" she pulled him back down rolling her eyes and laughing. 

10 minutes later...

"In first place, Jason Dabrowski" the Gryffindors cheered, "in second place, Andromeda Black" the Slytherins howled with applause, "in third place Edward Tonks" the Hufflepuffs roared with cheers, "and in fourth place, Xenophilius Lovegood" he finished and the Ravenclaws cheered loudly. 

"Nice work!" Clara congratulated Jason,

"thanks Clara" he smiled sweetly, she smiled back, waving goodbye and walking with the marauders to the common room. 

"Put some music on will ya?" Clara called over to Sirius who was sitting nearest to the music player, 

"mhm" he nodded and the music started, Clara grabbed her book and started reading again. James was watching people on the map with Peter, and Remus was helping Sirius with his homework. 

"Vixen, you finished your homework yet?" Remus walked over to Clara when he finished helping Sirius, 

"oh! I haven't started, totally forgot" he quickly jumped up and went to grab her homework from her dorm, they all laughed as she ran off laughing at herself. 

She came down running with her homework nearly slipping out of her hands, "where are you going?" Peter asked as she made her way to leave the common room,

"out of here" she answered turning around,

"where?" James questioned her,

"the map works doesn't it?" She smirked and left the common room. 

The boys gathered around James who had the map, 

"I solemnly swear that I am up to no good!" he said tapping the piece of parchment the map revealed itself, and showed Claras name walking down a hallway with Regulus, 

"she's with Regulus!" Sirius exclaimed.

"Well spotted" Remus sassed, 

"what's she doing with him" James wondered, 

"there names just disappeared!" Peter gasped.

Remus had a face of realization on, "the room of requirement!" He shouted pointing his index finger in the air.

"The what now?" James and Sirius were both confused,

"follow me" Remus said getting off the couch and out of the common room with Peter, James, and Sirius following him.
