After a super rough class with Sensei Kreese, I'm panting on the side chugging down water alongside Aisha.
"Hey you wanna go up to the cliffs tonight?" I over hear Miguel ask Hawk
"Yeah man for sure." He says as he eyes me out of the corner of his eye
Miguel notices..
"Hey Ash you wanna uh...come to the cliffs with us tonight?" Miguel asks us not really wanting me there I think.
"Uh...I mean I'd love to, but maybe I'll join you guys afterwards. I've got some plans anyways.." I say trying to let them have their "bromance time"
"Plans? What plans you got b?" Hawk says approaching me suddenly
"I've got a dad who I've barely seen, chill." I see putting a head on his chest walking out the door to leave. Leaving him speechless.

It's about sunset. We're at the cliffs. Not where I brought Ash, just a random set of cliffs Miguel and I started going to before I flipped the script. The traitor used to come with us but we all know what happened to him. We usually just come and vibe, talk about hot chicks, problems. It's not weird I swear. Miguel's a bro. For sure.
"Bro you've been quiet all night and you haven't wanted to go buy alcoholic all night what's your problem?" Miguel says knocking me out of my trance
"Oh nothing man you know, rough practice." I say taking a swig of my dr. pepper
"It's Ash isn't it."
"What? No. You'd think I'd let a chick get me down?"

"Man- whatever that's it. I've got stuff to do I'll see you at school."
