"Hey mom I'm- what the hell..." I say as I hear odd noises coming from my moms room.
That was the first time, over 4 years ago.
It happens over. And over. And over. Night after night. With guys who my mom hardly knew. Then she'd pretend like nothing ever occurred.
"Hey sweetie, this is my friend Jean, she's gonna stay here with me for the night while your mom is at work." My dad told me 2 years ago.
When Karol passed away, I drank. I drank a lot, but my parents? Picture fucking perfect as usual. My parents are too busy trying to seem normal and perfect to understand how fucked up everything about them is. Or is it a distraction.
My dad has tried to get me to date his fucking younger coworkers. The way they look at me when we had to go to dinners for his voice...the things they would say.
My mom will do anything to make it seem like she's a normal mom. Except actually genuinely emotionally be available and take responsibility for her own actions, or care about her daughters.
I pull into the school parking lot after almost wrecking my bike about 4 times. I could exactly see through the angry tears falling down my face. Why have I been so angry you might be wondering?
A few days ago...with Hawk, that should not have happened. Everything about him..the way he treats me...it can't happen. He's a fucking jerk, and even if I adore his presence..it can't happen. Cause I'll just fuck something up or he'll ditch me again like he has before. That, is something I cannot take. The stable people in my life already left me. One for good. I can't take that again. Not that deep of a connection.
I'm not ready for first period. I definitely should have skipped.
I mindlessly walk around the school avoiding most everything and everyone.
Tory is still nowhere to be found...which is so weird, she's usually buzzing around this place bullying freshmen.
I'm standing at my locker when..hold up, Robby? What is he doing here? He's talking to Sam at her locker..he doesn't go to school here? Or does he...he does seem like the slacker type. What the hell man..
I sit through my first biology class that I actually have with Demetri. He usually tries to talk to me the whole time about nerd shit that I can't comprehend, and he's still very much afraid of me...but it's ok. I love the little dude. He's like a brother in a way, a very skinny, nerdy, built like a pasta noodle brother...yeah. Today though he seems to leave me alone more than usual. However I'm grateful. There's no telling who else I'd possible snap at not meaning to today.
Suddenly the intercom turns on, and I block out most of it. That is until I hear a familiar voice.
"Samantha Larusso. You know what you did, and now you're gonna pay for it. I'm coming for you bitch."
Was that..Tory? What the hell is going on?
The bell rings and we all rush out into the hallways. All the sudden people start gathering around a following like crowds.
Miguel starts running from one hallway and Robby running from the next..all before we all come face to face with a sinister Tory, and Larusso.
Tory swings and taunts Larusso. Larusso runs.
Miguel and Robby are screaming, Robby grabs Sam to make sure she's ok.
All the sudden Hawk comes out of nowhere
"OH IT IS ON!!" He screams while shoving two kids heads into lockers
I don't even know what to do, I'm frozen in my own tracks
All the sudden some random Miyagi-Do kid, Chris, comes swinging at me.
"Oh HELLLL FUCKIN NO BITCH" I say as my right hook connects to his face. I grab his hand flipping him around and kicking him into a locker, right before Assface takes over and starts beating the shit out of him...that is until Chris takes out his chemistry book..
The fighting has moved the main entry of the school for the most part
I take a detour however through the computer lab
"Demetri...I know you're hear. I figured you'd hide in the computer you damn N- WHAT THE HELL ASH?" Hawk exclaims as his fist almost connects to my face
"If you hurt Demetri I will never, and I mean NEVER, speak to you again. You fucking. Coward."
"Who's fucking side are you on?"
"Call me fucking Switzerland you fucking. bitch." I say through gritted teeth running past him
man I hope Demetri is ok..
I run into the main entrance of the school where I see Sam and Tory working their way fighting down the stairs.
"No, mercy" Tory says through gritted teeth getting ready to finish Sam off. Tory's bracelet connects with Sam arm, and she screams out in pain. THATS MY BITCHHHH
Sam knocks Tory off of her and kicks Tory straight in the stomach
I run up from the top of the stairs past Robby and Miguel swapping blows to go help Tory. Robby may be a bitch, but he's smart. He won't actually hurt Miguel. Miguel can handle himself too, he shows mercy when necessary.
I grab Sam in a rear necked choke before she grabs my arm and uses two feet to spin around kicking Tory down part of the stairs
I drop her down and kick her down the steps as she face plants rolling down them.
I go down to where she's laying and I crouch down to her.
"I don't care who you are. What you've done. Or what you're apart of. But don't you EVER, hurt my friend again." I say as a spit on her face.
I don't know the full story..but I know Tory. And I trust her. If this wasn't a big deal, she wouldn't make it one...I hope.
Hawk and Demtri catch my attention after Tory goes back to handling Larusso
All the sudden...Demetri kicks Hawk straight into the trophy case and glass goes E V E R Y W H E R E
good for you D
I send Demetri a smile as Hawk stands up
All the sudden I direct my attention up to the top of stairs
Robby sends a side kick straight to Miguel's center and in what seems like slow motion..Miguel falls over the railing
"MIGUEL!!" Tory and I shriek
He lands on the stairs and all is silent for a split second
I rush over to him before Hawk drags me back.
"Robby what did you do??" Sam yells at him
Robby disappears
"ASH STOP" Hawk let's out a broken yell
I break free from Hawk's grasp and run out the front doors of the school. Then I disappeared.
