Chapter 5 ⚠️Tw⚠️- Dinner with the Avengers?

3rd POV

All the Avengers were in the kitchen sitting down dining like a family, Y/n finally located the kitchen but when she walked in with her long dark brown hair in french braids and wearing a black hoodie with grey sweats, all conversations hushed, Until Pepper got up from her seat to help Y/n.

"Hi sweetie I'm Pepper, this is Tony, Steve, Nat, Wanda, Bruce, Clint, Sam, Rhodey, Vision, Loki, Thor, and Bucky. Are you hungry? Wanda and I made dinner" she says with a smile

But Y/n just kept her eyes on the floor, she could really comprehend what was going on so she went along with it.

"HEY" Tony yelled

Pepper turned to Tony

    "You did not help mister, you just kept eating it before we could even put it on the table!" Pepper says with a hand on her hip with a smirk

"Well I was being the taste tester, yeah know to make sure it's not poisoned," Tony said laughing

    "Yeah yeah, whatever" Pepper rolled her eyes, laughing and Pepper turned back to Y/n

"Do you have any allergies sweetie? Or food sensitivities?"

    "No ma'am" Y/n says shyly trying to be as polite as possible

"Oh please call me Pepper or Pep, come sit next to me there's a seat free"

Y/n quietly sat in the empty seat after a few more moments of awkward silence conversations started back up again from talking about missions to what movie they should watch for movie night to Tony wondering if he should throw another party, everyone yelled no. Everyone was happy and having fun, Y/n was even smiling a bit.

As everyone was eating, Y/n barely touched her food and questions started to come up about her.

"So Y/n how old are you?" as Steve turns to Y/n

"17 but I'll turn 18 in a few months"

"So you're still in high school?" Tony questioned

"Umm it's complicated"

"What's that?" as Thor points to Y/n arms

     "Oh umm just scars from a fight that's all" as Y/n panicked and came up with that on the spot

"Oh on Asgard you get into so many fights and me a Loki always fought each other, I won every time" Thor burst into laughter

    "I always got my revenge though" Loki winked

Y/N POV

That...that voice sounded familiar almost like I've heard it before, no Y/n you're just being stupid *shaking your head*

I hadn't looked at the avengers in fear of what would happen but I guess it was just habit cause of what I had to deal with while living with Mark

Mark... agh the shit he's done to me, the hitting, the yelling, the being locked in my room when he got pissed at me, the threats... He's the one who broke me he reminded me every day how shitty I was and how I was a mistake

While thinking about my past I didn't realize my eyes started tearing up, my breathing quickened as my brain took over my body wishing I was dead. I was in my world till all hell broke loose.

"Y/n?"

"Y/n"

"Y/N!"

I looked up to see who the voice belonged to...

Loki's POV

Her eyes met mine, her beautiful y/e/c eyes pierced into my emerald eyes and all I saw was brokenness, her eyes were teared up and she was about to break. I could feel it and I'm sure Wanda could feel it too.

She bit her lower lip as a tear fell on her right cheek then she ran...

"Wait Y/n!" I yell as she ran to who knows where

"What the?! Loki what did you do?!" Tony roared

"I didn't do anything, Tony!" I say through gritted teeth

I then looked to Wanda to see if she sensed Y/n's aura or read her mind. At least her face was scared almost like she saw something that would scar her forever.

"F.R.I.D.A.Y where's Y/n!" Tony bellowed into the air

"I'm trying to trace her sir"

"Record all video footage on the cameras, in and around the perimeter!" Tony shouted

Y/n POV

I ran and ran. I didn't know where the hell I was going. I just knew I had to get out of there, Out of that room.

I ran through unknown halls I'd never seen before until I detected a door leading to a staircase

"Finally!" I whisper to myself panting

After running up the stairs I recovered another door that seemed to reach the outside world.

At this point I'm having a breakdown, my face was red and burned with my tears, my body and hands are shaking like there's an earthquake

I'm too caught up in myself to notice that I'm no longer the only one on the roof

The pain was all I felt. Emotional. Mental. Physical. Pain.

3rd POV

Y/n let out a screaming painful yell it wasn't just physical pain it was emotional and mental pain.

The avengers just stood there watching, some were shocked, some were hurt, some were numb, and some understood... but what happened next brought the avengers into another problem....what the hell are they going to do, and what the hell did they just witness.
