As Tsurugi was running through the halls of the castle, he was planning out his next moves carefully. In terms of experience in the battlefield, he was sure Kayneth had him beat. Not only that, he knew this place like the back of his hand. Knowing this, Tsurugi smirked to himself.

As Tsurugi put his hand on one of the castle walls, he used his used a cursed technique that he rarely used on anything other than his swords, Structural Grasping. This allowed Tsurugi to understand the structure and design of objects as if he was looking at a blueprint.
"Kayneth will believe that I won't kill him after the statement I made upon entering. Not only that, I used Hrunting to destroy the door so that when he prepares to defend, he'll assume that Hrunting is my strongest blade. When he lets his guard down....i'll hit him with a sword boosted by Reinforcement and Sword Trial."

With that simple command, the mercury following Kayneth began compressing itself into a thin edge a few millimeters thick before striking, its blade rivals pressurized water jet cutters. Just before Kayneth's mercury could attack, Tsurugi jumped back as he held out his right arm.
