A/N: Okay so before the chapter begins, I wanted to thank you all so fucking much. For the past few days I've been getting a lot of readers, votes, and even comments; and reminder that as much as I want to follow you guys back and reply to your comments/messages, I can't for some reason that has to do with my account's email.
Speaking of, there's this one account that literally read all my story in one day—it voted and commented on like every chapter so if you're seeing this I love you lol.
And finally, yes, you have my full permission to translate my story into your preferred language for the ones who asked.

Now enough talk, let's get on with the story:)

Draco's POV:

I stepped into the Great Hall for dinner, yes, it was already evening and there's still no sign of him whatsoever. Although I may have not shown it, but I've been searching for Harry in almost all the places possible in the castle—I even skipped most of my classes as there was a really bad nauseous pit formed in my stomach at the major possibility that he might be in danger at the moment and I cannot be there to get him out of it.
Granger had insisted on speaking to the headmistress several times, but I simply told her it was useless, what can she do that we can't?

My eyes kept glancing one second on the Gryffindoor table and the other on the doorway of the hall, too busy hoping to have emerald orbs finally locked with mine to even realize Pansy's voice beside me.

"Draco, eat something for Merlin's sake." I did not bother to tear my gaze away from where it was landed as I unfocused my eyesight.

"I'm not hungry." The words flew out of my mouth in a low, but firm tone.

I heard her sigh and shift a bit closer. "Listen," She began. "I know you're worried about Potter—we all are, but let's not jump to conclusions just yet, I'm sure he'll come around, and if not, we'll speak to the professors, they always know what to do. Everything's going to be fine." She reassured me.

I scoffed and shook my head, turning to look at her. "Yeah right, when are you all going to stop lying to yourselves and accept the fact that he is in danger? I'm sure you all believe that but unfortunately I'm the only one here who's ready to come in terms with it."

My words were left hanging in the air; no response was earned from Pansy as she held a pitiful expression on her face.

And there I sensed a palm connecting with my shoulder, in attempt to calm my nerves. I saw Pansy smile from the corner of my eye as she squeezed her hand tighter—it was a distressed smile.

"You love him, don't you?"

I did not reply to that, instead I proceeded to grab my glass of pumpkin juice and harshly downed it with one gulp, before firmly placing the empty material back on the table, receiving a few glances from around me, but I couldn't care less—it was clear how indignant I was feeling.
I then permitted my gaze to lock with hers, swallowing the remaining taste.

"Pretty damn sure it's obvious isn't it?" I mumbled, fluttering my eyelids as she flashed me a small grin, not uttering any further word.

I laid back on my seat more comfortably. I wanted to leave the table and do something but then I thought about it and it hit me...

What the fuck can I do? I've rummaged through every single spot in this place, kept my eye out for him in every situation just in case he'll hopefully make an entrance, questioned almost the whole Gryffindoor house if they had possibly seen him or heard from him, I even spoke to the fucking Hufflepuffs who are quite known to be his friends.
But that wasn't enough.
There was no way in which I was going to stop there.
If I had to leash hell on earth just to make sure he's safe and back in my arms, then so be it.

However now, I have to wait for a while. He still hasn't shown up and the anxiousness inside me in which I never thought would be present, kept increasing drastically each moment. I never imagined how much of an effect this would have on me. I can't stand a minute in this place without being reassured of his state.

Although it has only been one day, I couldn't help but find myself missing him in a way.
I'm pretty sure that's because we have spent days together—however those moments did not include us bickering or arguing, no, none of that. Throughout those two weeks I've gotten the chance to normally hang out with him, to get to know him better...
I've gotten the chance to properly be with him.

And I'm beyond grateful for that.

I still recall one day we both skipped class and he dragged me up to the Astronomy Tower. It was sunny but at the same time there was a cold breeze in the air.
As I began to reminisce, I was completely unaware of the soft smile that crept up on my lips while my mind drifted into memory.

"Hogwarts is beautiful, isn't it?" He asked, placing his palms on the edge, letting his eyes roam the view before him.

I wanted to disagree. The only reason in which I can call this place pleasant was because there's a certain someone who attends it.
And that person is Harry.

"Indeed." I sighed.

We stood in comfortable silence for several minutes, until he broke it by saying the most random thing, but I couldn't help but find it cute.

"You know," He began. "i've always wanted to have a tree house."

A deep chuckle escaped my mouth before raising my eyebrows at him. "A treehouse?" I asked in sort of curiosity.

"Yeah."

"Then why don't you?"

He scrunched his nose in a way that I find utterly adorable before speaking, "Well I always thought it would be useless to build and have one if I'll be staying in it alone," He muttered as I watched his every move and listened to his every word as if my life depended on it. "so I decided to wait until I've got someone."

I remained quiet as he turned a bit to face me.

"And now I've got you." He smiled broadly.

I wanted to flash a smile back, but instead I fake cringed at his childishness despite the fact that my heart fluttered in utter joy when he said that he's got me.

"There's no way that I'll ever do that. No." I said ironically, waving my hand in the air.

"Oh shut it."

And before I knew it, he pulled me down by my tie in order to press his lips against mine. I immediately returned the favour by gently cupping his cheeks and kissing him softly yet deeply.

"Draco, come on. We're leaving." I was snapped once again out of my trance to the voice of Pansy.

I rolled my eyes as I stood up, furrowing my brows when I saw Blaise's eyes roaming the table as he also stood up.

"Hey guys," He stated. "has anyone seen Lucien lately? He also hasn't been seen anywhere today."

My lips formed into a thin line at the mention of him, but thankfully, now I'm not the only one who seems to become suspicious about De Martel during this situation.

"Uh—" Pansy breathed out with a rather confused expression. "No to be honest, I haven't seen him either."

"Oh, weird." Said Blaise.

"That's what I've been trying to say you morons." I muttered, however, the words came out underneath my breath, therefore no one heard.

Besides, even if they did, there was no way in which they're going to consider Lucien being the imposter...

or maybe they are,

but either way, I'd rather work on it by myself.

A/N: One more thing. I would like to suggest a story for all the Draco simps. It's written by my bsf, @mariah_js.
She has put extreme effort and hard work into her book, and it's so interesting therefore it deserves much more attention, so you can go check it out!
