The voice brought him out of his thoughts. The moment he saw the person, tears slipped out of the corners of his eyes that he quickly wiped away. All he could manage was a teary smile and even that was a struggle, he looked down at his hands.
"I lost you... I lost you too," more tears left but the pained smile never left his trembling lips.
Shen Wei somehow managed not to break into another round of sobs. He just listened, tears brimmed to the rims, but did not spill.
"I never... never deserved you anyway. You are too perfect, Shen Wei. Too good to be true." Yunlan's lips trembled, a regretful scoff followed.
