Minulat ko ang mga aking mata ng maramdaman na may humaplos sa aking pisngi.

"A-adi?" namamalik-mata ba ako?

"Yeah. I'm worried so I came here to see you." gulat akong napabangon dahil sa kaniyang sinabi.

"Bakit ka pa pumunta dito? Pinapasok ka ba ni mama?"

"Hmm, I told her I'm your friend but she won't believe it." he shrugged.

"May kasama ka ba?" tanong ko.

"I'm alone. We were looking for you when you suddenly disappeared with Aiden and when they came back you're not with them. I keep asking him what happened but he said nothing." bakas sa mukha at sa tinig niya ang pag-aalala.

I did not speak but little by little my tears flowed again.

"Ang sakit, Adi." hagulgol ko. He gently pulled my head and placed it on his shoulder.

"I'm here." he whispered while caressing my hair softly.

"Y-yesterday. My m-mom suddenly told me that I'm not hers. You know what's surprising?"

"Hmm?"

"Kapatid ko sila Aiden." he stilled.

"Damn. All this time...I envy Aiden for thinking that he likes you. I always wanted to punch him every time I caught him staring at you." natawa ako pero muli na namang naiyak.

Sisa lang ang 'peg

"Pinagka-isahan nila ako." I clenched my fist in his shirt.

"Hush, baby. Your asthma might kick in."

Nang kumalma ako ay umalis ako sa pagkakasandal sa kaniya. Inayos niya ang buhok ko at binigyan ako ng tubig.

"Mind telling me what happened?" naninimbang ang tingin niya. Tipid akong ngumiti at sinimulang ikwento sa kaniya ang nangyari.

He listened carefully to me as I spoke. Parang bawat letrang sabihin ko ay kinakabisa niya sa sobrang focus niya sa akin.

"Destiny really does play differently." komento niya ng matapos akong magkwento.

"Hindi sila ang pamilya ko." he smiled.

"I know it’s hard for you to accept them right away but give them a chance to show their love for you. I understand you. I truly do. But think also of the hardship they went through when you were gone. It hurts for them and they definitely keep blaming themselves. " naiintindihan ko siya pero sarado pa rin ang aking isip. Siguro dadating din ako sa puntong iyon.

"I want to sleep." mahinang bulong ko bago humiga.

"Sleep, baby. I will watch over you until you fall asleep." he kissed my forehead.

Don't make me fall to hard, baby.

That was the last thing I've heard before being completely consumed by drowsiness.

Madaling araw pa lang ay bumyahe na ako. Wala akong balak pabayaan pag-aaral, 'no. Nagkausap na rin kami ng pamilya ko at nagkaroon ng kaunting iyakan.

My mom said that she's willing to give me back but I don't. I don't need them.

Kung sinasabi ni Mama na maimpluwensya sila bakit ngayon lang nila ako nahanap? Pwera na lang kung hindi talaga nila ako hinanap.

Pasikat na ang araw ng makarating ako sa labas ng school. Kaunti palang  ang mga tao dahil nga maaga pa.
