"My parents wants to meet you, baby." Adi whispered na nagpabalikwas sa akin. Nasa kwarto ko kaming dalawa ngayon sa bahay nila Mommy.

Bumisita kasi siya kanina at sinabing aalis kami pero dahil meron ako ngayon ay tinatamad ako. Naiintindihan naman niya 'yon.

"W-what? Did I heard it right?" he nodded.

"Matagal ko ng sinabi sa kanila na may girlfriend na ako and..." he looked hesitant to tell me so my forehead creased.

"Why?"

"Nothing, baby. Just please... please bear with them." ani niya sa nakikiusap na tono.

"A-ayaw ba nila sa akin?" my heart clenched.

"What?" I asked eagerly.

"I...have an ex and I can say that they really like her. And..."

"I don't want expensive stuff, Mom."

"Not going to happen. Baby! This is the first time we'll celebrate with you! Maybe not the first but I don't care. Kailangan perfect ang lahat!" she even pinched my cheeks.

I looked to Daddy for help but he just shrugged. I groaned in frustration.

"As you wish, Mom." pagsuko ko at agad naman siyang napapalakpak.

"Oh,hijo? Why are you standing there? Come here!" napaayos ako ng upo ng maramdaman ko ang presensya ni Adriel sa tabi ko.

"Nag-away kayo?" tanong ni Daddy.

"Nope."

"Yes, Papa."

"O-kay? Nag-away nga sila. Let's go, hon. Let them talk." inakbayan ni Daddy si Mommy paalis at iniwan kami doon sa sala.

"No, you don't need to." walang emosyong wika ko.

Ang galing ko palang umarte.

Napangisi ako ng palihim dahil sa itsura niya.
