Adriel's POV

I was so devastated when I found out that I have brain cancer. I can't accept the fact that I might die young.

"You good?" we're in the cafeteria right now for some snack when my twin brother, Perse, asked me.

"Of course," I said without looking at him. Nagtatawanan ang mga kaibigan namin dahil sa isang picture ngunit wala akong ganang makisali sa kanila. I'm too preoccupied with my state.

"Let's go." aya ko nang makitang tapos na sila. Tumayo ako at isinukbit ang bag sa aking balikat at nauna na sa kanila.

"Why are you walking so fast?" Zyren asked when they approach me.

"You're walking slow, that's why.." nasa field na kami nang unahan kami ni Aiden. Nagtaka ako nang sa ibang daan siya dumeretso imbis na sa building niya.

"Where is he going?" walang sumagot sa akin kaya wala kaming nagawa kundi ang sundan ang kaibigan.

Agad itong tinanong ni Thor kung saan pupunta nang maabutan namin siya. Umiling lamang si Aiden ngunit ang mga mata'y nakafocus kung sino ang nasa aming harapan.

My forehead knotted and I followed his line of vision. I saw...a girl.

She looks like a transferee based on her looks. Baggy shirt and a jeans? Not my type.

"Why are you looking at her?" I asked Aiden but he just fucking smiled! Is he in love with that girl or what?

I rolled my eyes but my eyes landed with the girl again.

She's beautiful, alright. With that brown eyes, pointed nose and kissable lips? Damn.

I want to offer help but I just stood there and watched her as she winced in pain. Fuck this.

"Tss. Stupid." I said and throw her a dagger look. I didn't mean that. Sadyang wala lang akong masabi.

I just watched how she stood alone and removed the dirt from her jeans.

"Fuck off," I heard Aiden whispered and tapped my shoulder. Nilingon ko ito ngunit wala na sa akin ang atensyon niya.

"Get out of our way," I said trying to proved what I've noticed from Aiden.

"Hindi ka ba marunong mag-sorry?!" inis na tanong nito habang nakatingin sa akin. And as I expected, Aiden tried to shut me up again.

What's with this girl?

"Tss, you're nonsense."

"Napaka-antipatiko mo! Kayo na nga nakabangga sa akin tapos—"

"Oh, shut up." nakita ko siyang umirap at bumulong. Kumunot ang noo ko nang taliman niya ako ng tingin.

Oh, don't look at me like that, baby.

She roamed her eyes and that's what I did too. Pinagtitinginan na kami.

"Problema nitong mga 'to?" tanong niya sa sarili bago ako muling binalingan. Why are you staring at me, huh?

I closed my eyes tightly when Zyren laughed, reason why the girl's gaze went to him.
