"Sherlock?"

You held your phone against your ear, wondering if it truly was Sherlock calling you—if he was really taking this much of a risk.

"Y/n," His voice answered you. "I need your help."

A burst of confidence shot through you. "What do you need?"

"Go to my flat."

You did as he instructed. You ventured out of your own flat, looking both ways to make sure no one else was there, and then ascended the stairs. You went slowly and cautiously just in case there were still officers there.
Pushing open the door to Sherlock's flat, you peeked inside. You let out a sigh of relief. No one was there. Through your phone you could hear a strange sound—a thumping noise.

"What are you doing?"

The thumping stopped. "Nothing."

Very faintly, you heard a voice say something. It was too muffled to understand what the newcomer was saying.

"All right, Sherlock. I'm in your flat," You said. "What am I to do now?"

"The computer code is key to this," Sherlock said, most likely explaining this to both you and whoever else was in the room with him—probably John. "If we find it, we can use it; beat Moriarty at his own game."

You started scanning the room, not quite sure what you were looking for yet.

"What d'you mean 'use it'?" John's voice came through your phone.

A quick deduction on your part led you to assume you were on speaker phone wherever the boys were.

"He used it to create a false identity, so we can use it to break into the records and destroy Richard Brook," Sherlock explained

John nodded. "And bring back Jim Moriarty."

You stood there in shock for a moment. "Hold on, hold on, hold on...what is this about Richard Brook and bringing back Moriarty?"

Quickly, John and Sherlock explained what they were talking about. While they were on the run, they went to a reporter's home. Sherlock had met her once before, at Moriarty's trial. During their stay at Miss Kitty Riley's home, in walked none other than Jim Moriarty himself. It was at that point that he claimed to be an actor named Richard Brook whom Sherlock was paying to be Moriarty. It was to be assumed that Jim had used the computer key code to rewrite his identity to try and frame Sherlock.

"Wow." That was all you could think to say after hearing the whole of the story.

"That's why we need to find the computer key code," Sherlock told you. "If we can find it we can reverse the damage Moriarty has already done and stop him from doing any more."

"Got it," You said with a nod.

"Somewhere in 221B, somewhere—on the day of the verdict—he left it hidden."

Once again you scanned the room. You finally understood what you were needed for. To find the code.

"What did he touch?" You heard John ask.

You searched the coffee table and the dining table while the duo brainstormed on where it might have been hidden.

"An apple," Sherlock answered. "Nothing else."

You moved on to the seats. You started with John's, assuming that Jim sat there. You found nothing there, though, and turned to Sherlock's chair. You checked between the cushions and underneath the seat. Absolutely nothing.

"Did he write anything down?" John questioned.

"No."

You straightened up. "I can't find anything here."
