A/n: Hello lovely readers! I'm so sorry I have taken longer than usual to publish this chapter. It's taking me a little longer to write these chapters since this is an original storyline and not based on any episodes.

I'm really enjoying it though! This is a chance for me to test out my original storyline writing skills. It's a lot of fun!

Anyway, I hope you all enjoy this chapter. And stay tuned for more coming soon!

I love you all a crazy bunch! 😜💖

"So, we don't actually believe that this is Moriarty again, do we?" John asked as the three of you rode in a cab to Mrs. Adair's home. Lestrade was going to meet you there.

"It can't be," You said. "We've had this discussion before back when..." You trailed off for a moment, glancing at Sherlock as you recalled all of the details regarding the last time Moriarty supposedly resurfaced. "...back when the video was broadcast all over London."

"Yes, exactly," Sherlock agreed. "This has to be some sort of mind trick."

"Someone else is behind this," You said. "I mean, technically 'Miss Me' is Eurus' calling card, not Moriarty's. We just associate it with him because of that video."

"Huh," John hummed. "I never thought of that."

"But it can't be Eurus. She's still in Sherrinford," Sherlock retorted. "She isn't the one behind this."

"Well, whether it's someone who is following Eurus's orders or Moriarty's, we're gonna need to cut our deductions short," John said. "We're here."

The cab pulled up by the front entrance to the Adair's home. Lestrade was standing by the door, leaning against a pillar as he waited for the three of you.

"Nice of you to finally show up," He commented.

"Ha ha," You responded. "We're not even late. We're actually two minutes early."

"How long have you even been here, Greg?" John questioned.

"I was only joking with you all," Greg said. "I've only been here for a few minutes myself."

"Excellent work everyone. We're all very punctual," Sherlock said sarcastically. "Now can we please move on with the case?"

You grabbed Sherlock's hand in your own. "Oh calm down, you."

Lestrade stepped forward and rang the doorbell. A minute later, the door was opened by a small, fragile-looking woman. When she saw the Detective Inspector, you could see relief in her eyes. She then looked at each of you in turn.

"Good afternoon, Mrs. Adair," Lestrade greeted her. "This is Sherlock Holmes, his wife y/n Holmes, and his partner John Watson."

"Thank you so much for coming," She said tearfully. She opened the door wider and stepped aside. "Please, come in."

The four of you walked inside and followed her to a quaint little sitting room. You and Sherlock sat next to each other on one of the sofas. John and Lestrade were in the two plush chairs. Mrs. Adair sat across from you all on the second sofa.

"Before we start, Mrs. Adair, I just wanted to offer my condolences," You said. "I can't imagine what you're going through.

The woman smiled at you as best as she could. You could see she was fighting back tears as she said, "Thank you."

You gave her a sympathetic smile and nodded. Sherlock wrapped his arm around you as you settled back down.

"We'd just like to ask you a few questions, if that's all right with you," John said.
