The sound of beautiful violin music could be heard throughout the entire flat building. Mrs. Hudson was exiting her flat with a tray of tea when she heard it. The music caused her to pause and then smile in such delight.
She happily made her way up the stairs and to Sherlock's flat. She stopped outside his door, leaned her ear towards it, and then entered. Inside, she was surprised to see that Sherlock was not playing his violin. Instead, she saw him dancing with you as his partner. Out of the corner of your eye, you saw the landlady.

You smiled and inhaled to greet her, but Sherlock spoke first. "Shut up, Mrs. Hudson."

"I haven't said a word."

He sighed as the two of you continued waltzing. "You're formulating a question. It's physically painful watching you think."

As if that wasn't painful enough for the consulting detective, at that moment, you wound up messing up and stepped on his foot. He grunted in momentary pain, and you immediately pulled away, stopping the dance.

"Sorry," You apologized.

"It's all right," He assured you.

Mrs. Hudson then spoke up again, "I thought that you were playing." She indicated the music.

"It was me playing." He picked up a remote control and turned off the music player. He then walked over to his sheet music and wrote down some sort of notation. "I am composing."

"It's a fun process to watch," You commented, sitting down on the couch.

"You were dancing," Mrs. Hudson then said.

"I was road-testing," Sherlock answered. "And helping y/n," He mumbled the last bit.

"You what?" The landlady asked as she began to fill a teacup.

Sherlock tossed down his pen. "Why are you here?"

"I'm bringing you your morning tea. "She added milk to the cup. "You're not usually awake."

Sherlock sat down in his chair. "You bring me tea in the morning?"

"She brings all of us tea in the morning," You responded.

"Where do you think it came from?" Mrs. Hudson asked with a chuckle.

"I don't know. I just thought it sort of happened."

You rolled your eyes, but smiled nonetheless.

"Your mother has a lot to answer for," The landlady said. She handed the cup to Sherlock who happily took it.

"Mm, I know," He said. "I have a list. Mycroft has a file."

Mrs. Hudson turned back to the tray and filled the other cup. She journeyed over to you and placed it in your hands.

"Thank you," You said.

Mrs. Hudson nodded in response, smiling brightly at you. She then walked back over to John's chair and sat down in it.

"So," She began, "it's the big day, then!"

"What big day?" Sherlock asked, playing dumb.

"The wedding!" You and Mrs. Hudson answered at the same time.

"John and Mary getting married!" The landlady added.

"Two people, who currently live together, are about to attend church, have a party, go on a short holiday, and then carry on living together," Sherlock retorted. "What's big about that?"

"I believe it would have more of an impact if, perhaps, the couple didn't live together until after marriage," You said. "But that's just my opinion." You took a sip of your tea.
