Sherlock, John, and Mycroft walked through another hallway. They had completed the second task that Eurus had given them, but the cost was greater than they expected. Three more people were now dead. Sherlock kept repeating John's words in his mind from earlier.

"Today we have to be soldiers."

Yes, soldiers. The consulting detective was certain that he could follow that order. Be brave like a soldier. Be strong like a soldier. Be as stoic as a soldier.

Be. A. Soldier.

Little did he know what the next room had in store for him. As Sherlock reached the end of the passageway, a door slid open allowing him to enter. He took everything in. The space was small with black walls and floors. There were no windows like the last room had, but in the center of the ceiling there was a chimney.
Inside the room there was nothing but a coffin resting on two trestles. The lid had been removed. Cautiously, Sherlock stepped closer. He let out a sigh of relief when he saw that there was no body in the coffin. John and Mycroft entered the room as well. Eurus' voice came over the speakers.

"One more minute on the phone," She said.

The speakers squeaked for a moment and then the girl from the plane was talking again. "Frightened," She cried. "I'm really frightened."

"It's okay, don't worry," Sherlock said softly. "I don't have very long with you, so I just need you to tell me what you can see outside the plane."

"Just the sea. I can see the sea."

"Are there ships on it?"

"No ships," She answered. "I can see lights in the distance."

"Is it a city?" Sherlock asked.

"I think so."

Sherlock looked over at his companions.

"She's about to fly over a city in a pilotless plane," Mycroft said. "We'll have to talk her through it."

"Through what?" John asked.

"Hello? Are you still there?" The girl asked.

"Still here," Sherlock told her. "Just give us a minute."

"Getting the plane away from any mainland, any populated areas. It has to crash in the sea," Mycroft explained.

John stared at him in shock. "What about the girl?"

"Well, obviously, Doctor Watson, she's the one who's going to crash it."

"No," John said. "W-we could help her land it."

"And if we fail, and she crashes into a city?" Mycroft asked. "How many will die then?"

"How are we gonna get her to do that?"

Mycroft looked down. "I'm afraid we're going to have to give her hope."

Sherlock addressed the girl again. "Is there really no one there that can help you? Have you really, really checked?"
