Tyler came over us

"go and fight in your car not in a public place" he said and dragged us towards Noah's car and then he left

"You go around calling me boyfriend and I don't know a thing about you. Not even your real name" He screamed and set me off with that

"You want to know my name? Don't blame me if you don't like the results well because I am Jane Walker,  the most feared mafia heir" I whispered dangerously low glaring at him

"I asked you for your name not your false sense of a power" He smirked smugly

"You know what? I'm glad I'm marrying Tyler" I shouted at him

I opened his car door and slammed it shut I heard him shout profanities at me and I smirked.

I again went inside the parlour and to our table to see everyone smirking at me except Tyler but he had a ghost of smirk he was desperately trying to hide

"What? Did I grow a head or something" I asked

"Something" Keith replied

"Guys" I sighed throwing my arms

"Fine. Well we are also glad that you're marrying Tyler" Taylor grinned (note the sarcasm)

I took a deep breath and went and sit beside April choosing to not reply

"Julia, Keith and Jane meet me in my office" father's voice rang through out the house on the speaker

"Why the three of us?" I whispered to them standing in front of his office

"Don't know" Keith whispered back

"Come in" we heard him call and went inside

"Yes, father" I said

"I want the three of you on an infiltrate mission" He said 

I felt Julia tense up beside me and I squeezed her hand. I know she is scared of infiltration, her brother died in one

"Father can I talk to you alone for a moment" I asked

"Julia, Keith out" He commanded and they left instantly closing the door behind them

"Papa, I'm ready to go but...... can we exclude Julia. She is scared you know what happened with Jim" He was like a mature older brother to all of us and the youngest to join the important circle

"I know and I want her to push her fears and keep working" he answered giving me a knowing look

"But papa you shielded her all these years" I said

"And if I continue to shield her she will never overcome her fears. Everyone knows you will include her in your important circle and she is not ready for it and neither are you to take my place" he said

"but-"

"Come here" he said standing up. I walked up to him and he hugged me just like the old days when he was my papa and I was his 'mignonette'

"My mignotte" he whispered stroking my hair and a tear of nostalgia escaped my eyes
