I walked behind him. Questioning him on the whole way while he ignored me. He knocked on one of the doors on the second floor and waited impatiently while I panted beside him clutching my chest because this place doesn't have an elevator.

The door opened and beautiful lady came out

"You know you don't have to come. I can handle this on my own" she said Keith ignored her and pulled me inside the apartment with him because he knew I wouldn't follow him

"I am doing this for myself and him" he yelled at her pointing at a baby boy

"Dada" he cooed and Keith took him in his lap and kissed his forehead

"But why do you need to this Keith?" she yelled at him as he covered the boy's ears

"I told you I have a f*cking duty to him which I need to fulfil and I want to fulfill" he yelled

"Stop, stop, stop" I went in between of them

"What's happening? Did you get her pregnant and this is supposed to be my nephew?" I asked

"No, she is my best friend's girlfriend who died in an infiltrate and made me promise him to take care of his girlfriend and his son" Keith said

"Dada?" I questioned

"He didn't see his father and he asumed me as his father because I was the first guy he saw in the midst of women" he said stroking the little boy's back as he snuggled close to Keith. Keith dropped the bag of groceries he brought in front of her. He kissed the boy as she pulled him away from him. He walked out of the apartment and I followed him

"Is it okay that I am losing my mind?" I asked him as he drove back towards our house

"Do you came here everyday" I ask him

"Twice in a week" he answered

"I didn't expect it from you" I said

"I know" he said and tried to drive faster than he drove before

"Come with me" he said and walked towards the dungeon and I followed him. He took the keys to Linda's cell and I stared at him puzzled because I visited her just hours ago

I knocked again on the cell door

"You again?" she asked and now it was his time to stare at me. I scowled at her and followed him inside her cell

"How are they? " she asked Keith and I was losing my mind finding it difficult to connect the points 

"They are okay. Mia's temper is rising and Allen believes I am his father" Keith said sitting beside her and lightly squeezing her hand

"Josh would have loved him wouldn't he?" she asked

"They would have been a lovely father son duo" he answered

"And Mia? What about her temper?" she asked

"She is a woman with pride. Me helping them makes her feel like I pity her and her situation" he answered

"I hope you don't mind Linda but I am still shocked when James decided to ignore his own nephew. Living in that mansion" he said

"Trust me when I say I cannot believe him to be my son. I am ashamed of him. He couldn't even take care of his own nephew while his brother sacrificed his life for his mission" she said and I was shocked. We just visited Linda's grandson
