"Gray, will you get him out? I don't feel well in that dark and smelly dungeon" I said swivelling in my chair

"Once it's okay but not every time, so I suggest you walk down with me" He said

"It's annoying when you're right" I scowled getting up

_______________

The guards harshly pushed him towards the door as we passed Linda's cell she whimpered at the sign of him. She didn't do it because she is sensitive, she  saw worst when she was with the Hernandez'

"Gray you go I'll come in 10" I said to him, undoing the lock on her cell.

"What do you want?" she scowled at me

"Don't take that tone on me" I warned

"Whatever" she muttered

"Who is he to you?" I asked

"As if I would say" She rolled

"You will, if you don't want it to be painful" I told

"I don't fear the mafia. You know it" she said

"Yes, but what will happen to Mia and little Allen when they receive the news, the only one who cared about dead Josh is dead" I mocked and that stricked a nerve

"Jane!!" she roared

"Scared much? Who is he to you?" I mocked again and she rolled her eyes

"Who is he to you?!!" I yelled

"My-my husband" she replied

"I thought he died" I said

"Faked it" she said

"He lives with another woman" I replied

"He left me and the boys" she said

"I didn't knew" I replied

"Please don't do anything to him" she said

"Sorry Linda but the offender of my family should be dead already" I replied

"What did he do?" she asked

"He r*ped mom till she bled bad" I replied

"I'm sorry in behalf of him" she apologized

"Don't be, you went through sh*t" I said and walked out locking the door

"Men's exquisite selfishness never ceases to amaze me" I said relaxing into my office chair, legs on the desk

"What are you talking about?" Julia asked sitting on the couch painting her nails

"Just like this, Mr. Thomas downstairs is Linda's husband, no divorce papers signed and he lives with another woman who is not to mention half his age and he is also a rapist. Also his son, James? He is heartless doesn't even care about his own little nephew" I replied scrolling through new insta posts

"Julia?"

"Hmm?"

"She was my mentor, she got married to Prince George some weeks ago" I said showing her the photo of the prince and princess of Wales

"Who? Evelyn York?" she asked and I nodded

"Her wedding dress was gorgeous" she said

"Yeah, it was" I sighed.

I could have a life like this. Married purely out of love. Kindness and loyalty. A family filled with laughter. No danger or chaos only peace. Sunday lunches with neighbours. In a different dimension perhaps, a different dimension
